Anyone else getting weird 10-20 fps drops at random times? I've not been able to determine the cause of it and tried on/offing everything driver/bios lvl, nothing seems to work, even locking FPS way lower to reduce strain on cpu/gpu doesnt eliminate it, which is super weird :/

I hate this game.

I had fun with the first weekend and I'll say the game is closer to BF3's core and feel than the garbage that 4 was, but this game has literally 0 staying power. In the first weekend due to people being new and everyone figuring stuff out, it was really fun to use gadgets and tactics to push fights. Playing around C4, smokes and spawns was very fun. But all of that is gone in beta 2, the game has devolved into jump shooters instantly shutting down any attempt at smart play. Try and push around objectives? Instadead, try and stay back and play safe? Insta dead. Try and go in deep to play smartly with beacons and c4? Insta dead. There is nothing sattisfying to do in the game anymore cause people just shut you down instantly. I didn't even bother playing today after one rush match of instantly getting sprayed down by everyone.

I am absolutely convinced there is SBMM this weekend
after winning a bunch of tight games which were progressively harder I just had a game where my team had an average kdr of ~0.8, top 5 was ~1.5kdr and the enemy had ~3.5 with top 5 having >10 kdr
this doesn't happen by accident and is exactly how sbmm behaves in CoD when it decides you've won too much and performed too well
the only difference is that you can't solo carry a 48 player breakthrough round even with 4kdr and almost a hundred revives sweating your ass off as support

I hope that they improved ranged combat. That's probably my biggest issue with the game so far

I still have a K/D of 4 and I've had multiple games where I got 50 and 2-5 deaths or had a K/D of 7+ and it feels fine. I'm sure I'll finish with a 5 or higher K/D this time around since I'm not testing out random stuff anymore and I don't really feel punished. but that's not what sbmm does in games. in anything from lol to dbd the sbmm overprioritises high performing players, especially anomalous high performance like winning 10-20 games in a row when matchmaking and groups them with lower performing ones
another part of the issue is that I'm a naturally great fps player and I slipped into the sbmm swamp entirely by accident
if I get a game that's a bit harder my natural response is to just pay more attention and perform better hoping the next game is more relaxed since I don't usually play competitive/sbmm games
this was fine for the first weekend and I was having fun and trying out dumb shit while maintaining 2-3 kdr
I didn't even consciously realise that I had activated gigasweat mode until the third to last game which was already very stacked and was carried by 8 people on my team wrangling 40 retards

It's only two for C4 to a person. 4 for any tank and you carry 4 and throw them pretty far. I think they originally wanted you to only have 3 C4 which is weird, but it's also one of the few abilities that recharges without supply on its own and isn't bound to X, so you get two abilities that refresh as Recon when you use C4 which are all nice buffs. Maybe it balances out

I played both Betas and I played enough of them to never want to play them again. Maps like Cairo have absolutely 0 replay value because of how rigid and limited your flanking is.

Take Wake Island for example. You can do literally everything in any order you want and have fun with the enemy reacting to it differently every time. Its like Dice doesnt want players to shape the battlefield themselves so they herd everyone in these retarded funnels that forces teams to clash the way they intended it. Even the flanking in Cairo plays out the exact same way all the time.

feeling too burnt out to get to 20 for the last reward on my pc. currently 17. I got to 20 on my ps5 last week.
