They are done by raid groups every week. This isn't a vanilla server. In vanilla it's a raid group of 40, on epoch it's 25 people. There are new bosses and mechanics too.
You can join a moldy vanilla server and just power through the raids and dungeons if you can find a casual guild.
There isn't really an overarching story in vanilla wow. They were just adding stuff that they came up with in a few months. The AQ opening event is probably the only thing you have to have been there for.

personally, i do not find this enjoyable. i would prefer to drop twice the mobs for half the XP each, than the other way around.

Lvl 10 so far. For w/e reason it doesn't feel as exciting or fun as the first time. Sharding really fucking killed the soul of this server. Like you get to Kharanos and you see 100+ people on your screen and it feels alive but the moment I get into wilderness I get sharded all over the place and see 10 players tops which is dogshit. Lots of bugs, somehow it feels more buggy than on 26th. Hyperspawns slow escort quests to a crawl. Skinning is a joke to level but people report 0 herbs and nodes.
Dwarf shaman is peak soul tho and I wished we had them instead of the dogshit draenei in TBC.
