Let's hope the gold cost for buying items isn't super insane when they bring the new trading over.
With the amount of gold I spend on crafting my own items and things to sell I always find myself running low on gold even though i'm spamming maps non-stop.

Either they need to lower the gold fee that faustus has for buying bulk currency or make gold more accessible for casual players instead of giving insane amounts to only the players that juice T17 maps.

I guess it's nice that they effectively become awakened versions judging by what we've seen but then I'd argue we only need 2 tiers, and the second tier should probably have some little quest for upgrading them or like a "crafting bench" type thing at the end of a trial of asendancy.

the 40% damage reduction from Deflect/Spell Suppression is more DR than any amount of armor you'll get with the Armor Applies to Ele stat because it's calculated pre-mitigation, a 10k explosion reduced to 2500 by 75% res is applying your armor value to the 10k hit.

Meanwhile spell suppression, well, EVERYTHING suppression now works on phys hits AND ele hits AND chaos damage and 40% reduction (which can be boosted on the tree and by socketable runes) is wayyyy more reduction than any amount of armor

They nerfed the fuck out of the most overpowered spear skill but there are still plenty of good ones. If you like Wild Strike then the best thing you can do is Quarterstaves or Spears. That side of the tree is also much better than the warrior side.

warriors now take 2x as much damage going from 75% block to 50%, block working against spells now is nice but shit like Smith of Kitava was already facetanking spells with 90 all res and you could turtle charm as warbringer.

Now everyone can get 35 to 40% block without a single point on the passive tree and the max is 50%.

Has tiers of items ever been a good thing in any arpg? It always signals bloat and gameplay discontinuity from campaign to endgame, something GGG seemingly wanted to avoid with PoE2. In D2 you could take a great blue you found in nightmare all the way up to lvl90+

Instead of armor if you put all those points in to life regen, you will be way more survivable.

Tell me why 'endgame' as a concept needs to exist. "Users making their own generated content' can and should exist from the very start of the game. You should be able to start mapping at lower difficulty tiers immediately, but simply make it so you don't gain experience in these maps and only campaign progress levels you, but also unlocks more tiers of mapping as you progress the story.

You should be able to immediately do atlas but are limited in what you can run in terms of difficulty and its just about farming for currency/items at your level range

Well sorry for you but magegameplay is the beta gameplay in all rpg and PoE's audience is becoming limited to just that portion of gamers.

There are people who play all rpgs as mages, and these people are trash humans you don't want around but the game should cater for them but they should never be the target audience if you want to actually make money and be successful.
