The core issue is the length of a rotation being too short. This is why we end up with a meta of 3-5 decks, which leads to boredom from playing against the same decks all the time. They should increase the rotation length to a minimum of a year, to allow more varied, viable decks, and not just memes with a 20% win rate

Well it has potential, now that the gold Spell is revealed.
The Gold Spell is a 1 card combo, once you summoned 1 egg you can just destroy it with the Spell again and get more eggs on board. Being able to put it up as soon as Turn 2 is also pretty nice since 1 heal is obviously better early than late game.

You're also supposed to get more eggs, with the 2pp spell and MAYBE in an emergency a second Lishenna. If you have 3 eggs on field, when you use one of the "kill all do X" effects you're either doing 3 face damage or healing 3 for "free". If you use a sevo on the hag idol with 3 eggs on field and maybe like a puppet or something (I'm not convinced on capping out at 4 eggs) you get to do 4 to face (hag effect) + 3 to face (if your eggs all line up) + 1 to face (sevo ping). It's (slightly) more damage than Odin, though admittedly without the removal and requiring the eggs to line up, but also costing a LOT less in terms of pp. Yeah, you kinda have to give ground in the early game to setup your eggs, but once they're up they start generating a ton of value every turn. That's why the white eggs heal you, to make up for the lost early HP a little bit. Now, I'm also assuming we'll get some bronzes and silvers that also do destruction or egg spawning effects to make it a complete deck, if all it got was the cards we currently have revealed it'd be a bit ehhhhh. I think it's a strategy that CAN work if it's sufficiently supported though.

With the new 2pp gold spell revealed you don't necessarily NEED Lishenna to start the eggs rolling. I think she'll probably still be a frequent evo but she's not mandatory for egging. I also think her spell in particular has interesting implications for eggs, depending on when you play your eggs you might be able to use it to flip one so they're on the same side for your burst turns. I dunno, really hard to figure out without seeing the full package.
