They made many different games. I actually liked Egghead Gumpty and the sort of vaguely cosmic horror vibe they were going for with it. It's just that Banban is the one that really got popular (for all the wrong reasons) and got them attention, so they just leaned into that regardless of how destructive it has been to their credibility as devs or how badly it has fucked their reputation in the indie horror sphere.

It doesn't help that not a single fucking person could even hope to tell you what the fuck the plot is even meant to be in Banban.

They reputation was fucked by Youtubers looking for someone to scapegoat for the current state of indie horror. No one blames Mob or TheMeatly for their games, and Scott Cawthon has a cult around him preventing such a thing, but everyone is allowed to fling shit at the Euphoric Brothers. If it wasn't for Youtubers BanBan would've been another bad horror game with no fanbase. This is gonna sound like it's coming out of my ass but I was told this by a friend who works at Mob I literally went up to St. Louis to visit them and they passed on some stuff.

Chapter 5 is absolutely going to release in January 2026. Production is moving along smoothly now that the newfags have a year of experience under their belts. They have no plans to take an extra year or whatever to make 5, the justification they gave is that they really can't without the series losing momentum and incurring penalties from partners.

That said 5 is the last one, but they already have a sequel in pre-production. It's called Poppy Playpark and involves Leith Pierre building the titular amusement park as a front for child kidnapping, staffed with a new batch of experiments. Poppy, Huggy and Kissy will return to this new game, as well as the Prototype but he's more of an easter egg at the moment.

5 itself will be what you expect. The Wrongside Outimals are just filler taking up a few sections and getting cutouts. They'll be like the mini-Critters, except this time their "form" can impact their ai and how they attack the Player. Like some will choose to flank you while others just rush in, stuff like that. Huggy of course gets the best stuff. They showed me one section where you're in a mock dollhouse and you're hiding under beds and behind cabinets to avoid him, and another one where he slowly creeps up behind you while you're distracted watching a tape. The Prototype however has a weird prescience, by that I mean you get glimpses of him through out the Chapter but it isn't until the finale that he shows his face he looks like pinocchio without a nose and has normally sized human eyes.

That's all they showed and told me but I'll prod them for more if you're interested.

The park had a poster in PPT which suggests it had already been built, so this would be more of a prequel then.
But the poster also implies that Elliot Ludwig had it built rather than Leith Pierre.

Could be that Ludwig did in fact build the park but Pierre is in control of it. The poster says "New Park" so even if his name was scrubbed from things after he died, it wouldn't be out of place on that poster specifically.

The rough timeline they gave me is that the park was being built in 1990 but production was put on halt, first after Ludwig died later that year and then after the HoJ happened. The game only takes place in 2007 right after the park finally opened.

They said that depending on their reception they would still appear in Poppy Playpark, I saw they had concepts for furniture and rides themed around basically every major character that appears in PPT, even Pianosaurus had a goofy park bench, so it really depends how people receive them. They're still passing around ideas for new PPP characters, I remember one they had was a snake that followed you in a tunnel of love like area, but it was just concept art so I don't know if any of is going to appear. The rough estimate they gave me was 2028 at the earliest for the game to come out.

I had my doubts about it because those trademarks came a bit earlier while the big group of obviously Wrongside Outimals names like "Goober Gutz" and shit all dropped at once, like with the Nightmare Critters from last year. 5 ends with the reveal that the ultimate thing Playtime Co. and the Prototype were working towards was a way to create human passing toys that could operate human equipment while being insanely strong but also loyal to their master. The Prototype is taking the orphans, now adults, and experimenting on them to create an army that he says is to grant himself protection and finish the job they started with the HoJ by killing the Player and Leith Pierre.

The Player destroys the Prototype's army, in the process killing ever single orphan that was experimented on. The Prototype then gravely injures the Player and leaves him to die slowly. Unfortunately, Poppy (being held captive and forced to watch) breaks free and sets the place on fire before escaping herself.

Huggy and Kissy in an earlier scene reconnected and discovered that they were human, Rich and his wife respectively. They also escaped and ran into the woods with a post-credits scene dedicated to showing them still alive when they see something new in the distance (Playpark).

The Prototype's fate was left intentionally ambiguous. I said he was an easter egg earlier, because concept art so far only shows him appearing from the shadows and watching events, but they had no plans to deeply involve him in the sequel.

They censored the bottom with static, they're hiding the name of the device for some reason. And it could explain why the trademark was first made back in 2024, because it relates to the Omni-Hand and Omni-Chip that appear in Chapter 4.
