The real meat of the game is the combat, so FH/GR/ToS. If you're not into that and the gear/character grind to do better at that (ie incentivize you to try to rank) you're just in the casual gacha enjoyer cycle. Which means checking back 2-3 a year to catch up on all new content.

Because tanking isn’t possible for his team, at least not without a shit load of rng. There’s still plenty of days left until reset even if playing the long game he wouldn’t have enough points to buy out defense/magic resist.

Compare this to magic where whales can day 1 clear floor 10 with rng, and f2p can clear floor 10 by day 4 without even maxing magic.
