I played one Tentacle and 6 Goblets to make it this far.
I realized I could have played Amelia and give her boots to run her into Norman to help draw the out (Centaur is in the deck). Amelia + Boots + Enhance Valse could clear the Norman while keep the SOI lock intact while I heal and wait for the wincon. Rune is out of Starlight heals.

Dirt is a snowball deck that takes time to gather sigils, summon golems, wait for end of turn effects, etc. And next turn it does something, or the turn after that.
That might be fine in HS, but SV intentionally doesn't give time for that, A card must frontload it's value or it's too slow for Tanaka-san.
Honestly, I have no idea why they brought the archetype back. It was too slow even in early SV1 that was called anime HS.

The problem with Zirc is the highroll for her is just too good in a class that can facilitate that highroll very easily going second with coin two drop, two drop value zirc.
It's an annoying coinflippy card that either functions as a chunk of stats that's decent as a floor to instantly ending the game if you get a little unlucky.

It's the most annoying kind of winmore card that probably shouldn't belong to a class with some of the best reach in the game.

They used to have evolved stats be a completely different metric instead of just being +2/+2. 99% were +2/+2, but it was technically a unique value every time. They couldn't figure out how to handle that with super evos, so they just said fuck it and made evolution outright give the bonus stats directly.

They COULD balance this by giving followers evo effects that give themselves -2/-2 on evo or whatever so that they can balance their evo effects and their baseline stats. But they're too busy rigging popularity contests and swimming in their Scroog McDuck money vault.

Jerry isn't such a bad card even if you don't use his evo effect. A 4PP 3/3 which gives you a 1PP spell that destroys a follower. Use it immediately or save for later. The only real downside is that you can't evo him to clear a board without also committing to changing the win condition of your deck.
