This game has completely froze up my whole PC twice today and just now I got booted out of lobby where the in-game chat said everyone lost network connection. And after a restart the in-game social menu doesn't bother to update itself, it still thinks all four of us are in the same match fighting terminids on Hellmire.

Stratagems:

Harpoon gun

Use clusters and coyote to control swarms outdoors. Use harpoon + coyote to control swarms in caves. Dragonroach is biggest problem, I usually just hit it with an ultimatum. Go wild on your ammo since you have supply pack, it lets the coyote obliterate everything. Get to the lung, close the holes around it with harpoons, and then unload into the lung with all of your grenades and ammo. And obviously abuse stim invincibility, extra padding gives you that little extra leeway against burrowing fuckers.

The only reason I take a Senator these days is for Squids if I'm not taking something that can kill Stingrays. If your support weapon can't feasibly or conveniently kill a squid flyer then it is an absolutely valid loadout choice because it will kill them dead in at most two strafes if nobody else puts Med Pen fire on it.

If your teammates are actually competent and one or more of them puts fire on a squid flyer you will shit all over squid flyers. But then keep in mind this is Helldivers 2, you can't always count on squadmates.

The Senator is a good pair for more weirdo weapons like the Torcher, or shotguns. It's not really... THAT good for much else, to be honest. Like, you can certainly use it well, but, it's kinda a weapon without a target. Automaton gunships and maybe stingrays are about the only things it does especially well into, and both of those require aim, and tard wrangling secondary sway. It can blast a medium up close, but, those aren't really unique to it.

Steeled Veterans as a whole can be a bit nice for a first warbond, but once you have a few, it really doesn't offer much.
If you want a secondary that actually kills shit, the Crisper and Ultimatum are really without compare. The Grenade Pistol and Stim Pistol have their utilities. The Loyalist... I guess does rupture strain.

The Senator (and Talon, for that matter) don't really do anything all that interesting for the slot, short of patching a range or penetration weakness the rest of your build has. And if you need them to patch a light pen ar or something, you probably can't aim well enough to use those. If you already have Borderline Justice, the Senator IS built to work with the armor more than any other secondary, so, you can dredge some extra value out of it that way, I guess.

I just realized that the halo shotgun (and the other shotguns) probably round down to zero when hitting durable at a distance, because they deal less than 10 damage per pellet on durable and that's what was causing 0 bleed damage. The code rounding damage under 10 to zero.

Big boy Combine Charger is the heavy armor of the warbond. I'm not sure what the armor passive for the warbond would be. Gas resist and the first bullet damage resistant armor?
