Redo all of Rocket Racing. Seriously, A to B circuits would be more fun than 3 laps around some soulless course with random stage hazards and stupid mechanics. Look to the new Mario Kart (ie. a giant fucking map that people can also just drive around and chill and see Fortnite landmarks). Rework cars; sedans are great, bring them back. Fix the fucking Cybertruck as a 4-door that can hold 4 and people in the bed. Stop just porting over RL models, nobody likes them. Also make the cars 1:1 with real life. you need to remember how much goodwill epic put into festival as a concept. we're going on 2 years of its existence, and i can count on my fingers the number of times jam tracks even showed up in the best sellers tab. sure, the best sellers hasnt been around for all that time, but do you really think there are many songs where epic made a profit? many where they even made their investment back?
they were basically putting in 4 or more songs every 2 weeks from massive artists (and zoomer shit but thats expected), even when the player numbers tanked to next to nothing a few weeks after the novelty faded. then it was

A lot of characters may have fans but there are so many series there's no hard anchor characters except maybe he OG series Amuro, Char and Sayla but the styling is so retro it may not be appealing in FN unless the outfits are carefully chosen and tailored.

Maybe pick a generation? Wing is fairly popular, X and G, Turn A have their fair share of fans but not as surging as Wing during the 90s translated airings.

nowadays br has so much cover, movement and interaction on the map, zb feels a little better than builds imho

in reloads case, dying and respawning is more punishing in zb cause you rely more on loot, while builds always retain their builds and all you need is mats and a decent pump to come back. in zb you lose all your movement, cover and dmg to another player which makes coming back harder, so i think blitz makes way more sense than reload for zb.

Seasons take a year of planning or more. Especially for a full collab season, there's a lot that needs to be done. Contracts need to be signed, cosmetics need to go back and forth for approval, map assets need to be made, etc. Even if they wanted to, they can't pivot now and cancel Simpsons season. Like a train that's barrelling down the track with no brakes, all they can do is sit and watch.

They already had time to see this wouldn't work, marvel season in ch5 did poorly until they went back to fortnite original content, it did even worse than Wrecked, which itself did badly because of marvel shit. Then they made the decision to do a simpsons mini season a year in advance even though anyone who isn't clinically lobotomized could tell you that was a bad idea.

Star wars mini was a miscalculation even though they should've seen it coming from marvel, but to go full steam ahead with no plans to pivot at all? That's completely shortsighted and assenine. They have teh resources and manpower to pivot months ahead of time and that's how we even got OG but now they can't do it to avoid a potential game ending season?
