The most infuriating thing regarding roguelite modes in D2 is that they have THE perfect layup for it: Braytech.
They already have a shit ton of semi-modular rooms and hallways with a cohesive theme they can use for the procgen. Have some intern churn out a hand full of extra rooms for variety, say that "we discovered that the facility on Europa goes much deeper than we thought, but due to vex fuckery the layout changes all the time", and boom, done. Had one of the longest delays we ever had and the original plan was going to have Prismatic only exist on Pale Heart and a bunch of other stuff wasn't going to happen initially. Episodes didn't do anything fundamentally different, Revenant was one of the lowest points in games franchise etc.

I get how you might think that but considering how Bungie has had like 3 separate rounds of layoffs off Final Shape, the Frontiers article pretty much was the most diplomatic way of saying how they're downsizing shit by a good amount without blowing the sale etc, I just don't see a world where Bungie's magically going to pull anything close to a relative high note in the series' past. They're as done as it's going to get with this game.

Bungie also did almost nothing beyond the campaign and Last Wish. High Moon did most of the work on the Shore, Vicarious Visions did most of the work on the Dreaming City and made the collections tab, and the two of them did the bulk of the seasonal content. Bungie had the entire company on Destiny at that point and they were producing fuck all.

Those who can't login are met with a constant TAPIR error which doesn't go away. I've seen people all over Russia complaining about this error, but some people can't login even from various parts of Europe or the USA. One specifically weird case was a guy who lives in Serbia but has a Russian account on PS5, he can't login into the game using this specific account, but can easily login on an account registered in a different country. Some people jump through a bunch of hoops and manage to login through VPN, but it doesn't help most people. There is a fuckton of posts about it in the Russian and even in the English part of Bungie's forums, but they all get the same 3 template replies of 'Bungie have been informed' or 'Bungie are investigating' or 'we have noticed an increased number of TAPIR errors'. They are all kinda good in their own right the only frame I will say kinda hit a weird snag from just product of nerfs and changes over times are Precisions but you can still do good with them. High impact is really just a lot of setup for when you need to have that long charge out, they also hit from very far away and people sleep on that. Try it with auto-shooting on and gyro-on when aiming, this isn't auto aim so you still have to put your reticle over enemies.
It really frees your fingers so you don't have to do the fucking crab cringe hand and since it's mainly a PVE game (with some PVP modes like Shifting Gates which is Gambit but MUCH better) it won't impact your playstyle too much.

Still, the best way to play it imo is on the emulator.
