Seed isn't very good. There's no way around that. I rolled her. But she's one of the worst attackers in the game. Her damage is very low and even worse she is part of the aftershock meta but doesn't actually do aftershock.
If you have Seed and are hoping Orphie will fix her you will be disappointed. Best case scenario is to accept you've lost 160+ pulls on a dud. Do not roll Orphie for Seed because she is terribly bad and doesn't work well with Orphie anyway. If you want to make an Orphie team roll SSanby.
Unfavorite Seed and never use her. She is terrible. The worst character released in a mihoyo game. I can't remember a character in any hoyo game that has been this trash on release.

Given how the Lucia/Fufu/Komano team performs, I'd argue the damage output on the Lighter/Orphie/Komano team is closer to maybe 10%/45%/45%. He's got some good damage spikes during the Stun Window for example, due to his kit actually have some special Stun interactions.

I'll agree he's very much not "the carry" on the team, though. Everyone on the team contributes about the same amount of value, which is kind of novel.

Allow me to backtrack a bit. Astra was the first attempt at making the dual attacker team work. By making both attackers gain buffs through her own QA. Sadly, it didn't work as they intended, since having a mega stunner like Lighter or Qingyi provided a bigger buff while dazing the fuck up of the boss.
This is why Seed provides Astra level buffs, so the team can get both attackers and a stunner to gap the stun windows.
Hugo, on the other side of the attacker spectrum, was made to disregard Astra, instead using 2 stunners to get quick stuns and totalize.

Part of me still wants that 100, because of how silly high her crit damage can go. If I add Fufu, her crit damage would get close to fucking 400% bonus damage on her aftershocks... missing that crit would be BAAAD. And even without her, it's easy to get 300%.

Funny you say that, because fuck did I get reminded why I dropped Genshin really fast.

It all started okay with the last Natlan Archon Quest, showing a bit about the twins.
But then it went to Mondo, and HOLY FUCKING SHIT was that "Intermission" Quest a stinking pile of garbage. It was so fucking bad I don't even.
The precursor to Nod Krai was meh, and luckily not a sign for what's to come, as the actual quests there were a bit better. Not the best Genshin ever was, but good enough.

Now then. The new area they added last patch and is the first patch cycle end area not immediately removed? WHY DID THEY NOT REMOVE THIS PILE OF GARBAGE. It plays so fucking awful, it can't have been tested. And the Nod Krai event was also extremely lackluster.
The moment Genshin enters any "non main-story" territory it falls apart so fucking hard.

Meanwhile here these stories are better. Fucking Seed's character quest was much better than the (still okay) mainstory of this patch. ZZZ really feels like it's made with somewhat older players playing here and there, considering the messages and such. Weird because it looks like a ZZZoomer game and they even removed TV for those. This weird story direction doesn't make much sense, could've just kept the TV to filter ZZZoomers completely and be done with it.
