The end of chapter 7, and what an end that was!
The bossfight against Patriot was well done and had just right level of difficulty for my liking. He really was like a moving mountain, but with the right mine placement and timing I could burst him down. Big help from Monsty included.
And when it comes to the story side, there is a lot of new stuff to digest. Little Amiya is a king of some sort? From an ancient prophesy? Okay, right. Seeing Kal as flustered as she was about the whole thing only made it all the better. The way our bunny can make visions happen was also an interesting detail.
As for Patriot... well, he was a tragic figure for sure. Though he felt too stubborn, too hung up on his ideals, accepting that he's just being used.

Amiya standing firm in front of that towering mountain was a highlight of this chapter for sure!
Looking back, I'd give this one the highest rating. The pacing was well done and didn't drag with pointless filler or side plots. And the battles were difficult enough for me to start sevaral of them over. As always I didn't use any supports.
The only character I'm kinda missing is Ch'en. We never found her on the way to Patriot.

For what it's worth the wendigo did make the life of the infected around him alightly better, even if was far from ideal. Shitty situation and everything.

And I used my standard squad for the fight with the only new additions being Monsty and Ulpi. After some trial and error I figured it's best to burst him down on that tile where he's stopping briefly. I blew up a mine, debuffed him with Shamare's doll and started attacking with everyone I could spare. Since he can oneshot Ulpi, Mostima was there to hold him in place a while longer with her S2.

Old ops got moved into a separate pool so you could get something new instead of your 11th Exusiai. You don't do anything with it other than graze the banners and 1/3mo kernel locating banners for shop op picks

Reroll for any 6* on any banner other than the beginner banner.
Loop back to the beginner banner for another 6*
Check your mail and play the game. You'll get a voucher for 1 6*, 3 5*'s, and and E2 promotion voucher for a 5*. You can use it on Amiya which helps fix her s2's skill point issues making her a staple of your team. But any 5* works it's unimportant.
Having any 5* in your squad lets you use friend supports at full power. Everything has a low rarity/welfare + support clear so you're good to go.
Play main story through 3-8 to max your daily base income and unlock 0 stamina game modes with over 2 years of resources in them
IS2 is easy starting with a Thorns, Eblana, Narantuya or otherwise support. After you clear the team comp and win req to unlock class specialization squads you can start with them promoted for an easy time. IS4/5 monthly challenges only need you to do easy actions across multiple runs so it's free progression mats after playing each mode once to unlock them. IS2/3's need you to reach the 3rd floor for the rewards but give you rental ops to lean on.
Use your weekly event restoration crystal to get over 40 5*/6* welfare ops. Check out the numerous shops and game modes to get even more welfare ops.

I've noticed that Amiya does a lot more killing, maiming and mutilating than other main girls from "family friendly" gacha.
