Yeah the Overprotective one isn't amazing since max SPI generic heals will heal for 13k which is more than max HP without Great Embrace, and will still heal you to the 200% cap even most of the time. I think the Opportunistic one could have helped the few mons with SP consume signatures but it only works on reserve and every 3 rounds so that's not good either

Hell, with Beelzemon and Mervamon, you could have had ones seperate from the Demon Lord and O12 actually be an old married couple that eventually change into a Jijimon and Babamon for the "grow old together" angle, could have been NPC siblings, business rivals, a lot of things.
Hell, that one quest literally did reduce her to "Remember this?" She falls for your Beelzemon and decides to also fall for another Beelzemon on top of it just cuz it's Beelzemon even though she's supposed to be a different person from the other Mervamon who fell for Beelzemon. That entire quest was in fact a reduction of her character into a reference.
