I had an experience, and I wanted to ask what someone should actually do in the situation. So, I had a leona in my lane as miss fortune, and we were fighting a yuumi xayah. The leona roamed, and I wasn't really able to farm anymore, right? The xayah could just walk up to me and start initiating trades, and I'd be forced to back up or lose. Eventually, they were quite a bit stronger than me, since the support wasn't doing very much, and it got to the point where they were pulled up right under my tower.

At this point, plating is still up, and I can't really go anywhere else, right? Like if I go mid, I'm stealing his CS and XP, and letting the lane go, which sucks on like 5 different levels, but if I go bot, they just dive me and wipe me out. So, basically what I'm asking is, from a position where you can be killed, what do you even do? I feel like even with perfect play at that point, there's no way I can contest the Xayah, but I must get stronger. Is it just over? Do you just go mid anyways?
