I'm having very mixed feelings about this game. I don't think anything about it, individually, is egregiously bad (can't comment on story since I haven't done it). Music sounds good, UI is great, anons were complaining about the designs and while I don't love all of them there's a good amount I like (many of them not available in-game yet tbf). I've only read a bit of the character dialogues/interactions but they seem cute. Gameplay is entertaining enough that I'm not dropping it day one, we'll see if that holds up or not.

The problem is that when you put it all together, it feels like it's all over the place. The designs seem like they just wanted to cover every archetype they could think of, with the only unifying theme being some star-shaped accessory everyone has (which I like, but they're not enough). Enemy designs feel pretty random, but that's common. I'd need more time to get used to the music but so far nothing stands out as particularly memorable nor have I noticed any consistent style/genre they're going for. Also, I have no fucking clue what the setting is even supposed to be. Why are music notes and records so heavily emphasized in a game where the characters drive around in a van and climb towers to make wishes? This last part might be explained better in the story I haven't read but the introduction does a pretty bad job of it at least.

Overall I really wanted to like this game, and it has glimmers of sovl under all its problems. IME gachas tend to have their identity degrade over time, but this one feels like it has yet to figure out what its identity is to begin with. I'm not too optimistic that it will pull it off, but the dailies seem quick and easy enough to keep it as a secondary game for at least a month or so.

I don't think it's making to mid 2026. EoS perhaps even as early as first trimester. Gameplay is non-existent but far more tedious than BA, gacha odds are terrible, no 50/50 safeguard for dupes and you need around $480 to hit pity if you want to buy your way up to the character or weapon (why are you whaling for a weapon?).
