This. I rolled Vivian and now I can use her with every other Anomaly in the game. I roll Alice and she works with most too, I roll Yanagi and she works with most as well as a solo DPS. All supports up to Lucia worked fine too and you can even build them for Anomaly if need be for more disorders or application.
Meanwhile with Attackers, they have 2 teams if you're lucky, usually their BiS and then a cope team. Orphie and Seed were the first semi flexible attackers released and it felt more like a gimmick than plug and play like Anomaly

It is the exact same thing because both classes do meaningful damage outside of stun. The only exceptions to this are Harumasa, Zhu, and Hugo. Every other attacker deals good damage outside of the stun window. You would know this if you actually played an attacker outside of the few in 1.0. It's fine if you prefer anomaly because they're braindead but you should just say that. You don't have to put another class down so you can feel like your favorite class is on top

Think about it, so they're this class who's entire gimmick is they build up daze faster leading to the boss being stunned, where they take 150% more dmg. But there's the problem:

Lighter gives fire res shred, fire dmg boost, stunned state extension, cdmg through relic set. You just do his flurry, dump his ult/ex and switch back to your dps to onfield. It makes more sense to drop your limited dps resources like ult during the stun window.
