MoP is great. I leveled a character on classic, cleared the raids a couple times. Dialogue has appropriate emotion, the faction conflict is organically woven into the narrative and gives it the push it needs. MoP feels like WARcraft. Legion is marvelslop trash where 90% of the dialogue and story is melodramatic bullshit. They had to asspull a reason for the horde and alliance to start fighting again. It's got that DF melodrama baked into its shitty dialogue, but because it has Illidan the piggies eat it up while jakpointing at their screen.

I loved MoP, but we can acknowledge in honesty that prior to thunder isle mop had real issues. ToT dailies were alot better and more lucrative and then as the patches went on we had barrens turbofarm for coins and then frogs.

Yeah, that's a flat out retcon, in the original the entire army was rallied by Lothars death as a martyr, not just Turalyon, and Ogrim was overcome as a result, with Turalyon choosing to spare him despite everything. Lothars death spurring the Alliance soldiers to heroism was unexpected on Doomhammers part since he thought losing their leader would dishearten them rather than rally them, like it would with ORcs. And even that version is a retcon, since in that one Lothar and Doomhammer fought in open combat, but in the original strategy games Doomhammer ambushed and murdered Lothar after falsely pretending he wanted to negotiate.

It doesn't really matter though, every bit of lore and characterization in WoW is terrible and it's completely unsurprising they're ruining Turalyon along with everyone and everything else they've already laid waste to.
