It's worse slay the spire. It's a gacha so it'll be worse by default, adjust your expectations or have them flattened.
It's pretty good for a gacha though since no other game has deckbuilder gameplay and roguelite stuff is severely lacking since roguelite in a game usually means "You can choose better these things that don't fucking matter" and the mode has zero difficulty.

Also, though the roguelite mode is actually pretty nice for a gacha, the character designs are extremely boring and the localization leaves a ton to be desired. It's good and I'll call it good but it's definitely not some sort of perfect game you NEED to play now since it has tons of flaws.

The issue I have with the ""roguelike"" modes in games like this, ZZZ, HSR and wuwa is that you're always in control from minute one and can only go up from there with the mode just becoming yet another chore because every run plays the same.

In a real roguelite, you should only be in control after you've finalized your build or are close to doing so but can still get fucked over by unexpected or unpredictable shit.

Comp is 70 Shia(T1)/40 Tilia/40 Jinglin(T1), main skills 4/4/4. Discs are 70 Summer Welfare/70 Minova/40 4* Light one with Misty on the cover.
Worth noting that almost all of the Snow damage is on boss while Night pads it with boss add damage(Snow struggles with killing them though).

I vastly prefer SS but they really need to spice up ascension to make it more interesting sooner rather than later, not that I expect anything instantly but it'd be a massive shame if they just left it as-is. Yeah like I guess "pull costs double" is always going to seem sour, but apparently the non-spark pity was added at the same time and mathematically, the absolute worst case scenario is that you get 2 on banner chars bare minimum in 160 pulls e.g. 80 avg. So it's like genshin but you skip 50/50, and also the worst case scenario is much less likely since rate is 2%, and you get 1/3 of a pull per day at F2P which is pretty equitable. So yeah I guess it's just down to how much they hand out from generic events and stuff. The system itself is very kind as long as f2p income isn't poverty.

Though with how long her cooldown is on her flamethrower and how often you're stuck just auto attacking with nothing going on and even worse her flamethrower can very easily be interrupted it's better to run her as support in my opinion. It's not an objective tier list though that's the point. The game has too many variations and you can force most teams to work with enough effort.

What you failed to understand from that post is that having a support main without a vanguard in the back means that you will never trigger your marks. If your main is a support you are forced to run a vanguard in the backrow to pop the marks, as their support skill can trigger marks. Versatile characters can trigger marks only as main, if they are in the back they only inflict marks.
