So, in what situations or what characters would prefer using Fury Trance over Vampire Burst? And vice Versa, because I've typically been preferring Vamp quite a bit. The heal can be nice sustain and extra ammo is great. Meanwhile, despite it being a whole 40% resist, I can never find it doing a lot and having your stamina locked kinda sucks. And you don't get bonus ammo and can't use QSR with it active.

Honestly thank fuck they did this, because supergliding has been in Apex for years. This only levels the playing field by making it a much easier input. It's the same thing that has to happen to things like cornerboosting in Deadlock, these powerful movement mechanics should not be tied to difficult inputs and arbitrary mechanics, it just adds a huge layer of completixty to an already overly complex game

Those are the main ones. I also think that Scarabs need to have faster projectile speed or better targeting too.
For what it's worth, Mirage is good in pre-made stacks where people coordinate Traveler ganks. But in MM (and especially solo queue) there are better heroes to play.

Both give stam recov and mina has the lowest base in the game so you can hit 3s stam recov for basically unlimited stam. Arcane surge works too instead of Kinetic but I think the ability range and duration is a bit of a waste

You fucked up by not swapping. And if you swapped, you and your teammates probably fucked up by letting the enemy counterswap back to you instead of doing it discretely so as to avoid it.
One common amongst these short range brawlers like Billy and Abrams is that they are only as good as their lane partner. At the very least someone on your team capable of assisting you and denying enemy plays, like Paige or Ivy can, or capable of clearing waves effortlessly, should have swapped to your lane. Unfortunately, the playerbase is not yet at the level where coordination of this kind of commonplace.
At that point your best bet is Monster Rounds and stalling as much as possible (at least until you can get the sinners', but that may be asking for far too much) and eventually giving the tower when you are able to gauge that they can dive and kill you and/or take the tower for free.

I might be overvaluing it but the move speed reduction is a big deal. Sources of move speed from items are only on activation except Juggernaut afaik. It's not so easily counterbalanced. Even if the souls value for damage is great, it impedes long range heroes that thread the line of bullets fall-off range and require careful positioning in combat.

This item used to be broken but now it doesn't really help enough at making spells more meaty. Sure it will put a dent in a tank's HP but it definitely doesn't provide an answer to them like spirit resistance reduction would do. The -ms movespeed on sharpshooter is a big deal desu, most of the cast lies is a pretty tight range around 7m/per s so -1 is really just making yourself slower than everyone. I think they choose this to make kiting less viable, but with the amount of movement options I think they could reduce the ms or drop it entirely and it wouldnt make it op

Some less than other, Holiday's projectiles are tiny as fuck and her magazine small, she punishes bad aim more than most characters, Infernus require you to have a very consistent tracking to apply afterburn, if your aim is shit, you're bringing zero value until you get enough levels and ricochet to compensate.
Same with Vinny, if you're not hitting your sniper shot, zero value.

Compare that to characters like Doorman which have huge projectiles, Mirage who can apply stacks way more easily or characters like Wraith or Haze who have CC to make things easier and do not require you to hit as precisely.

Valve did a terrible job of tying down the movement shooter and MOBA element together.
Split pushing and objective advantages aren't nearly as effective and important as in a other MOBAs, they probably did not intend for games to be that short, heroes like Lash, Drifter and McGinnis have clear weaknesses that obviously stems from being designed from a MOBA ( In Drifter and McGinnis case ) or a shooter ( In Lash's case ) perspective.

They're gonna need a LOT more updates before they can make it work or even decide how they want this game to be played.
