President Juou is a logical person who gets to the point, hates small talk. I can see how Sena thinks he's being cold. He comes to scout Mao after seeing her beat Gekka at NIA and to take her in before anyone else scoops her up. He does this by waiting in front of the dorms and staring at the idol stats of those who come near (scaring Temari and Kotone), so he's probably autistic too.

Starting off, he considers dropping Mao out of high school as an option in order to focus on being a professional idol, or putting her in class 3 while provisionally signed under 100Pro to wait until graduation.

Rest of commu 2: Mao and GKP arrive at the theater. Mao talks about the things she loves the most about watching stage shows, such reading the pamphlet while she waits for the show to begin for example. They compare it to the atmosphere before a live, GKP says he loves feeling the tension from the crowd. They conclude the atmosphere of stage shows and lives are still pretty different to each other tho.
Mao then talks about her feelings for the actress, Maki. She always dreamed of one way performing together with her, back when she was an actress herself, but that never happened. She realized that she was "looking away" in a cowardlyway, but her feeligns have been sorted out now, and she resolves to properly "face her" from now on.

Commu 3: Play is over. Mao and GKP had a great time. Mao is moved to tears, and asks GKP to look away. He reaches out for a handkerchief. Mao tells him she realizes how hard Maki has been working all this time, and how switching from prince to her current image must have been really difficult at first, but she didn't give up and kept going. This motivates her to keep at it in her own activities.
They are ready to head back. Mao thanks GKP, but suddenly, it starts to rain. Mao condifently proclaims she brought an umbrella just for this and insists that GKP shares it with hair, GKP quickly rains on her parade by revealing he too brought his own, saying that he cannot allow his idol to be exposed to the rain. Mao is disappointed, because she wanted to gallantly escort GKP... but quickly gets over it and now insists that GKP must escort HER instead. GKP goes "wait, didn't you say you had one too?", but Mao hits him with the "oops guess I forgot it after all ;P" excuse.

P proclaims he felt love at first sight watching this, which immediately makes Mao flustered. He also remembers Mao giving him toruble at first, to wish a still very embarassed Mao replies "Please forget about that!".
The rain has almost subsided. Mao expresses she wishes they could have stayed like that a bit longer. She thens runs off, while there is still some slight rainfall. GKP tells her to not run off while it's still raining and to stay under the umbrella. Mao proclaims "Heh, looks like the prince is dripping wet now. How do I look? Have you fallen in love again". GKP says "I'm not answering that. Get back here now". Mao then answers that she doesn't wanna, and requests this: "Please look at the me from now onwards. I'll make you fall for me even more."

Hatsuboshi Commu seems to be the "default" timeline, which starts with:

Each route is the result of a slight deviation in GKP's behaviour here. Ume's route is the result of meeting Ume before Saki. Rinami's route is the result of actually remembering that Rinami exists. Mao's route was explained above, but GKP said he would have otherwise selected a first year.

Therefore, on this timeline:

>Had he not seen Mao with the umbrella, he would have chosen Saki.

GK P doesn't have a scouter nor does he believe in it. Remember the only reason he scouted Lilja was because of her will not her talent or potential. Sena much like Heero Yuy is hard focused on talent and potential and ignores the intangibles. Shion reappears for the first time since NIA (that wasn't a dream) about to have the police called on her due to not having paper money to pay for food in a shopping district restaurant that doesn't take cards. So she's a clown.

Anyway, Mao comes across her after storming away angrily from P after he brought up the news that someone else with more producing experience would be handling her at 100Pro.

They then have a chat at the maid cafe that P took Mao to before. Shion was eating out because Gekka is now crashing at her place after finding someone of interest (so we can assume she's doing this in Rinami's route too...). Shion was looking for Mao because after seeing her defeat her sister, she believes that them forming a unit together may be able to bring Gekka down from being the top at Gokugetsu. She's kind of late though, but ends up talking about the situation with her. Shion doesn't know what the issue is, because producers and fans are simply tools to be used to build herself up.

Shion refers to her as Arimura Akira again, leading to Mao asking if they've met before. Back when Shion was an actor, they performed together once. Mao was famous at the time and Shion was a freshman, so Mao doesn't remember. But they did talk and Mao said that she was going to become the Top Star and a prince one day. Shion was glad to hear when Mao quit acting, because they ended up the same way, that is until she learned that Mao moved to become an idol instead. It vexed her so much (because it reminded Shion of herself).

Like with Ryugetsu Maki for Mao, Shion must have had someone she wanted to become like and was later disillusioned by. But luckily Mao came across P to save her from this situation and let her learn to love herself. Although Mao can't take up Shion's offer of a duo unit, she believes that Shion still wants to like being an idol, and needs to learn to love herself as well.

She'll be cured eventually.
