The main issue with the Dracthyr storyline is that they're meant to be a military race where quite literally every single one of them was born and bred specifically for battle, yet the moment they awake from stasis, they act as though they're a bunch of high schoolers. They genuinely shouldn't even understand much less comprehend all of the thoughts, emotions, and feelings running through them after being snapped out of their trance-like mind-controlled state. As a matter of fact, there's a lot of interesting stories and character arcs you can tell with that exact same setup. It's the classic "machine learns what being human means" that numerous popular films and pieces of media do, but WoW writers are incapable of capitalizing on it because most of them are complete amateurs that only view the story they're writing as a mouth piece for whatever political agenda they're hyperfixated on. So instead of being capable of writing something that's universally understood and recognized, they instead just want to say "this is an allegory for trannies" and call it a day, because it's quite literally all they're even remotely capable of. Why does the game sometimes autoswap my spec when getting into a random dungeon group and other times it won't?
It's especially annoying in remix, where roles are absolutely irrelevant, yet it won't let the group through unless there's one tank and one healer.
So I queue as a healer in my dps spec, zone in and I'm in heal spec with no artifact, so the traits don't even work and I have to waste time swapping back to dps.
