Alright, I spent several hours going through World Stage mode in Virtua Fighter 5 REVO World Stage and wanted to give brief impressions about it.

World Stage mode is really well done. The format of World Stage mode is similar to that of the format of Quest Mode in Virtua Fighter 4 Evo. There's a cluster of several arcade venues that host a large number of competitors that must be beaten in order to advance and progress up the ranks. The World Stage mode starts off at the arcade venue with the lowest level of comp, then the comp gets better as you advance. There's also a side tournament panel in the upper right corner of the screen that list any side tournaments that available to compete in. These side tourneys also have character custom items that can be won.

There is an expansive Challenge List included in World Stage mode that shows all the character custom items that can be earned, and what must be done in order to get them. The E costume types for every character are immediately awarded to those who start off playing in World Stage mode. However, there's still a lot of character custom items that's been left out -- S costume type for starters. Eh, I won't cry over spilled milk about this as I'm grateful of the things that actually were added to this game. Anyway... I liked that Challenge List is included because it gives a player a clear idea of how long to play through World Stage mode to reveal the items he/she specifically wants.

And finally, I later on went to play Rank mode online with crossplay enabled of course. Matchmaking is finally alive with consoleniggers makibg up the majority of players. The game was dead with only PC matchmaking but now I get matches just as fast as in T8.

Overall a 10/10 patch. THANK YOU
