I don't think locking a whole new dimension to combat behind a select few vehicles is the right approach. IFVs COULD get some infantry mechanics on the side to represent what they were designed to do of course, but infantry should also be playable alone or alongside specialized and otherwise unplayable/unresearchable vehicles dedicated to it, think trucks, APCs and transport choppers that come with the infantry a-la Wargame.
And besides, straight up RTS mechanics would feel a bit out of place in a game where you only ever control one vehicle at a time (even with multi-vehicle SAMs or catapult floatplanes you're only controlling one vehicle of the system at any given moment). For better or worse, Enlisted is probably the most sensical role model for WT's infantry, perhaps with the small tweak of being mostly in third person with first person ADS like Helldivers 2 and the addition of optional (and not so optional in Sim) full-time first person for novelty like the cockpit view.

you can attack airfield modules in sim, and the multipliers are totally retarded. Join a pve lobby, take the most rockets that you can, climb to space, nosedive on the enemy airfield unleashing all of your rockets on one of the airfield modules (picrel is outdated but the concept is the same)

If you're determined to get the Maus, the two fronts pack is your best bet. You'll have 3 vehicles to spawn and stay in the match longer, thus increasing RP. You have until Thursday to rush enough rank 4s to get to rank 5. Technically you could get there faster with the Tiger II or CLOVIS, but you'd have to be pretty confident in your skills and make use of backups. 5.7 Tigers are more forgiving, just make sure to never present a flat unangled plate.

Everybody knows this, which is fights at altitude happen every once in a while, not every fight in every match like it used to be when heavy bombers could bomb your airfield and end the game.

its easy. put the missile 90 degrees from your nose, drop chaff, and then significantly change your altitude. the last part is because arh missiles all have strong inertial guidance and will fly right into you even if you are notching if you dont.
