Well if you don't want to use a credit card, I don't know... I think openrouter might still take crypto as long as it's stablecoins. They also support caching, but do take a slight middleman fee iirc (and so does crypto). So not as cheap as possible.
Paying Anthropic directly is best for dollars per token, but requires a credit/debit card.
The nice thing about openrouter though is you can try a bunch of models, deepseek, Kimi, GLM, GPT.
If you really want to just try something free, go check out gemini through AIStudio, it's servicable and completely free. Just needs a burner google account.

The AI will probably try to act as you in the 2nd/3rd scenario. Maybe that's a good thing? Try a persona as a small 19th century Victorian child and see if you survive! The President is supposed to think there's something special no matter who you play has, but I haven't really tried different persona types. Rename the card from President John to whatever you want and it ""should"" update everything correctly.

Hopefully if I'm trying to write big paragraphs of text it'll help me get better at that "how you write it" part. I would like to know how people tend to measure the differences between these formats. I could barely tell any difference between list and W++
