Remember this company will tell you they do not adjust game balance with skin sales in mind.

The thing they leave out is that they buff them ahead of time instead so normies who don't read patch notes notice the buffed champion popping off in their games. This makes them interested in playing it themselves and then they have the new shiny skin shoved in their faces in client homepage. Connect the dots.

In the meantime players who actually read patch notes and check stat sites start abusing the fuck out of said buffed champ.
Increased banrate soon follows. Riot wouldn't want players to think twice about buying a skin because the champion it's for is banned often so they give it a slap on the wrist nerf. Banrate responds to slight nerfs faster and harder than winrate does.

Timmy swipes mom's credit card without hesitation now. All according to riot's plan. Whenever accused of balancing around skin sales they just drop the aforementioned quote - yet when you look at the bigger picture the pattern I described is very consistent, especially in case of legendary skins.

Jungle has the highest autofill rate and the largest stomps from on-role vs. autofill, as admitted by Riot themselves. This has been a problem for Riot for many, many years now, as they've constantly attempted various things to make the jungle more accessible.
So, how do you resolve this? Put more champions into the jungle. That way, even when you get autofilled, the chance you can play a champion in the jungle is higher. And this serves the new Fearless format in pro play as well.

Except this is, as I mentioned, retarded and short-sighted. First off, the main way they buff champions for jungle is by giving them some kind of absolutely ridiculous bonus to monsters (like Diana's ludicrous 300% or Brand's 260%). This has the unintended side-effect that, ironically, now laner versions of these champions can dip into the jungle to quickly steal/pressure the enemy jungle for their camps and waste no time at all. This is usually much more pronounced in the top lane; when your laner loses hard, the top laner begins to push into your jungle along with the enemy jungle, depriving you of resources (because you can't win the 2v2 with your laner behind) - even though you've done absolutely nothing wrong yourself. Imagine now how, say, a jungle-buffed Aatrox will be able to clear your top side before you can get there because your laner lost and he doesn't even lose a wave while he does it.

What they don't realize is that back in the day, we only had Dragon and Baron as objectives. That's it. But Phreak fucking *hates* ganking, so he decided to add in a bunch of objectives to keep junglers busy and out of lane. Now, we have Dragon, Grubs, Herald, Atakhan, and Baron. Grubs even used to be two camps! All of which are important - which significantly widens the gap between an experienced jungler and an autofill.

Couple that with the other issues jungle has (I won't even get into them), it's no wonder why it's autofill hell
