Support Chisa is a mistake

This whole argument of "WE NEED MORE COMBAT EVENTS OR THE GAME IS DEAD" is stupid, it suggests a game is reliant on events to carry it rather than actual regular content. Is FFXIV dead because it doesn't have combat events and instead gets events where you just talk to an NPC a few times than collect your rewards? No games like that have actual content that gets added and updated, i.e endgame. The actual issue with WuWa here is the endgame only resets once a month, they need to either add new endgame or make the current endame reset more frequently. But demanding more combat events and nothing else and acting as if that's what makes or breaks a gacha game is stupid as fuck.

Hell, tons of gacha games like Nikke don't have combat events and people still play them and enjoy them. The only retards having meltdowns over the lack of combat events are streamers like Saintontas who want new content not for the game, but for their streams and if the game isn't constantly providing them new streamable content than they'll say the game is dead and throw a melty. Not that I wouldn't want another Banners Never Fall but if you think events like that (or events in general) are what this entire game should revolve around than you're fucking retarded.

GIVE US ACTUAL PERMANENT CONTENT THAT'S REGULARILY UPDATED WITH NEW STUFF (like adding new bosses to TOA or new Holograms) MORE FREQUENTLY THAT'S WHAT WE ACTUALLY NEED

The problem is that the events usually suck butts and it would be a lot more fun to have events using the actual combat system than spend hours on the latest shitass minigame they came up with. TCG a shit, TD cookie clicker a shit, tower defense a shit, wuwa survivors a shit. These also last for hours.

2.7 was engaging and felt like a good pay off to a lot of things that were built up and a really good direction for personal Rover stuff. Its the sort of patch story that made me really excited for the future since it's clear that kuro is super focused on the main character being the main lens and explored point of the main story.

You should never look at any gacha as a main game. It's good for spending some fun time with it, but I'd never invest into any. Especially not into this game, as I already have nothing to farm, an I skipped like whole 1.0 to 2.0. However the game is fun, combat is fairly good, you can rotate your teams so it's not getting boring, it's good to pass some time overall. I'm not a story guy, couldn't really immerse myself into an anime world, it's just too silly for me, but the story in this game is alright. I'm not a fan of lengthy, lore heavy games, because I usually play FPS games and shoot pixel enemies, but when I'm not feeling shooting baddies, I just hop in to this and have some chill time. I started with Genshin, as it as babby's very first gacha and I won't lie, I really liked it. Maybe because of the atmosphere that time during covid, but I remember playing like almost half a day, because it was something new. But then it became a chore after a while, I think I played like 2 years, every day. Log in - do dailies + events - log out. But the yapping... that fucking yapping and unskippable shit made it unbearable to me, so I quit for good and it was the best decision I made. This game actually respects your time, lets you skip if you don't care about the story, but then you hit the point, where there's nothing to do, just login - claim that 60 gacha currency - log out, and wait for the next content patch.

It's a genuinely well-made fame 90% of the time. There are moments where it is absolutely peak and better than anything the traditional gaming industry churns out. Other moments where you really wonder where the writers heads are at and are just bored with the routine. You don't have to milk it for all its worth. Can just jump in have fun and when you stop having fun you can bounce. Gachas are cool like that. You have a lot of content to work through. Free real-estate entertainment. Find a character you like and start building a team around them. Powercreep is not as bad as other gachas. It exists but it's more like... fun-creep? QoL creep?

Play for a week or so and see how you feel. Don't feel bad about skipping cutscenes after the first boss fight (or when you personally fill like things are dragging on). Things eventually pick up once you meet the silver-haired dude and the pink-haired girl.

The first version of Dreaming Deep was actually fun. It had both character specific buff and team buff as well. And earlier stage was quite challenging.

If they just reduced some randomness and dialogue, it would have been fine.

It's especially bad with back-to-back limited 5-star resonators that all need the same boss materials.
So for example, I started in August and in that time I got Iuno, Carlotta and Lupa, alongside Galbrena and Qiuyuan.
The first three all need Hecate parts. The latter two need Leviathan parts.
And Phoebe is just around the corner. I'm getting her, and I'll need to farm Jue for her limited weekly boss materials. I still haven't finished Qiuyuan, so next week I'm gonna farm for Leviathan again. So I can't prefarm Phoebe unless I settle with Qiuyuan being unfinished.
Of course there's also the three Rovers, all of whom also need limited weekly boss materials as well (Fleurdelys, Scar and Dreamless). I haven't maxed any of them out yet because I'm focused on my limited 5-star characters.
I also still also haven't gotten Verina maxed out yet. She needs the Bellborne boss's materials. That's also limited to 3 weekly farm sessions. The grind just never ends.
