>What is Tabletop Sim TTS is a physics sandbox game meant to be used to play board games online, you can find almost any board game for free in the Steam Workshop, or even create your own!
https://store.steampowered.com/app/286160/Tabletop_Simulator/
Hosting is as easy as just opening a lobby and getting the game's workshop item. Post your favorite board games, discuss and play with other anons. Find games in the Workshop (https://steamcommunity.com/app/286160/workshop/) and discuss/host your favorite games!
Of course, if you prefer to play board games through other platforms, like Tabletop Playground, Board Game Arena, or game's digital editions, feel free to talk about and find other players here!

>How do I play?
Controls are mostly straightforward and intuitive, but there's always little tips and tricks to learn, more info can be found at https://kb.tabletopsimulator.com/
>How do I join?
That's easy, you click on "Join" in the main menu, search for the lobby name and password that's been posted, and done!
>How do I host?
Click on "Create", and that's basically it. You can find free games in the workshop here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/286160/workshop/
Games hosted/played, now in a collection for your convenience!

i do not recommend to play.
by turn 5 you have already done everything the game has to offer, there is no thinking past turn 5 you just repeat what you have already done with until the game is over, almost like a script.
there are games that are wide as a puddle deep as a ocean but this is not one of them the rules are basic but so are the decisions you have to make.
this game should be 20 mins max not 2 hours

>>1856696Brutal game! Even after attempts at kingmaking, the Red Player comes out victorious with 167 Culture, followed by Green with 117 and the Blue civ coming up short with a very efficient yet quite uncultured 73.
GG and WP, playing some Scout next.

Doing a final GWT now before ending, you can stop this by joining.
And it ends 92 to 87 in 1 hour 20 minutes!
The Decrypto mod is fixed

My Tragedy Loopers mod is mostly done. Now to shanghai my friends into playing it.
>>1859338that's the higurashi social deduction game right? does it work well in TTS?
>>1859340>social deductionNo it's a 1v3 deduction game with a time travel theme. Everyone knows which player is the bad guy.
The 3 players on a team are trying to find out what their objective is and what levers the 1 has to mess with them.
The 1 player by themself is trying to prevent the team from discovering their objective before the game clock runs out.

>>1859340>HigurashiThe only Higurashi element is time travel and one sub plot that is literally just Hinamizawa syndrome. It works perfectly in TTS since you're not allowed to table talk in general anyway unless the GM is lenient, but unless you're in voice chat you should give extra time between loops for table talk since everyone has to type over each other.
There are also some 5-6 player house rules in the unlikely event that you get that many people who want to play at once. I have a 6p table but I haven't added all the scripting and setup to it yet.

>>1860380It's actually really simple to bake them into 1 texture and obj, if you need help just tell me when I host a lobby.
>>1860564If you want to do the bitch work it'd be appreciated, I'd have to figure out which part goes to where since they aren't labeled though (not sure if they're interchangeable). The Workshop needs more vehicles.
>>1860599Yeah I'm happy to help, we'll find each other in the next lobby
>>1834518 (OP)Does it work on steam deck and can I import 40k into it
>>1861196it runs fine but needs remapping controls because the default TTS controller control scheme is funny at best
yes, wargames are popular, just not in this thread.
>>1861196how exactly do you plan on playing wargames like that on a controller? don't they require precise control over distances? pretty sure i've seen people irl playing them with a measuring tape for the distance the miniatures move, since they're not playing on a grid
but also what
>>1861212 said, we play boardgames, not wargames

I'm up for another โค1 hour game instead if you'd prefer!

>>1864048>>1864027Thank you for hosting.
>>1864094Ah, so you are just the resident shitposter then
Carry on
>>1864114>>1864119Was it good though?
>>1864033>>1864114Riddle me this: why does it have cards instead of drawing legos from a bag?
>>1864747because the cards are both your victory point counters, and piece income counters. The taller you can build, the more your monkeys are motivated, the more stuff you get; but if you manage to build tall enough to earn the highest card, your monkeys demand a break.
>>1864747>>1864923also the game just wouldn't work if you were given random pieces. it's very intentionally designed.
>>1865133I wasn't suggesting players get random pieces to build with. I was wondering why the cards aren't block assemblies.
>>1865169??? how would that even work?
>>1865179You build them when you first set up the game and they're just together after that.
