Welcome to /vm/abinogi.

Mabinogi is a fun, once popular little old school Korean MMO from 2004 based around Celtic mythology with many different features. Your character can age, rebirth, eat food and gain weight, play and custom make music, and so much more. You can be anything and do anything all at once with no downsides. From non-combat related skills like cooking, tailoring, blacksmithing, trading goods in a commerce, carpentry, etc. to different styles of combat like melee, magic, ninja, archery, puppetry, etc. all on 1 character.

Although graphics and gameplay is still a bit dated, even after 17 years the game is still rich in content such as fashion contests, cooking contest, jousting, playing in or viewing large concerts, training pets, and so on and continues to be Nexon's most generous game.

I just don't understand where the source of mattk comes from once you've hit stat cap, arcana is linked, and I already have a demo but waiting on prot stones to try step 6. Enchants are just prohibitively expensive that just one for like 10 more mattk is like a months worth of gold.

Being level 190+ after hitting 40k total levels, having matk reforge(up to 80matk on staff), having titles(around 90-100matk), maddening at least on everything, ringbands(100 matk), Blue Echostone, matk hat (Languhiris Chaser Circlet, Ultimate Geas Edge Circlet; up to 12[?] matk)

This is me, not even in DD or HS(HS still gives the 200 matk right?), with mediocre enchants, not even with all my proper gear or matk 2nd title on and using a Nightbringer wand with step 7 but no matk reforge, but with Nightfall on it, and a Perseus spellbook with, I think 18/20 matk reforge. I also have a high level max matk totems and totem like things(like the alban emblem), and like maybe 8(?) from homestead props. Probably another 60 or so matk from those.

I forgot I also just used a forgetful so I'm not even with the bonus stat cap from being level 190+

Generally youll find partys advertising for Crom 30s and Crom 100s, you can go ahead and join up with them depending on how comfortable you are. Some people will be weird and say like "Ruin/NB only" but if youre good with debuffs/buffs a Demo is fine, or if youre SG/BL.

I've been taking along several MBG members to teach them the ropes for 100s so if youre ever about i can drag you through a few runs so you get the hang of it, Vast also offers occasionally. So basically note any of the 3 officers , Ergreifer, Kaxuza or maybe Vastramund
