I have been saying they should do nothing and let the parents parent their own kid the whole time. Also, the content maturity rating system is HORRIBLE. People constantly get their ratings rejected by the jeet moderators even if they fill it out truthfully. I've been on Roblox in 2011 and can confirm that Roblox has always had a problem with porn and sex games. There were those "s3x games" which you mentioned, but don't forget when exploiting was as easy as just injecting a DLL with Cheat Engine on any game and it would give you access to Studio features. People used that to "rape" people with a script and this I believe is what led to FE being implemented around 2017. (I recall jaredvaldez's "What Am I Drawing" being very popular with rape script exploiters for some reason.)

Before the sex hacks were a thing, there were some legitimate (e)RP holes back in ~08-10 or so. It was all over the place with people going to personal places after meeting in-game and textfucking because that's what happens when a bunch of teenagers are (mostly) unsupervised on the internet.

The games I played might have factored in, too.

It was a different time. It was pretty neat, but it's one of those older internet relics; it'll never happen again because the internet as a whole has changed with the prevalence of social media and any retard being capable of getting online, on top of people being let on the internet at younger and younger ages.
I think all those people who did it moved on for various reasons, but I'd imagine pretty much anyone who still did it subsequently vanished when pedos/scripters started getting involved.

Something I often did when I didn't have friends to play with was make a base off the edge of the map only accessible by jetpacks, not sure how effective that was as opposed to just dropping a few printers in some fuck off corner. yeah that's pretty fucked I agree, but Roblox really is the one platform that doesn't excessively ask you for your shit just to use it, some companies ask you for email, phone number, credit card number (even if it's free) and to dox yourself just to use their services. For Roblox you only need a username and password. And honestly it makes sense here because most games want to save your progress which wouldn't be possible otherwise.

other than using the arguement of it being a generalization a lot of people including roblox's fake rules did not want online dating in the site, some games like the iron cafe even went as far to put "NO ONLINE DATING" as their ingame rules, obivously that didn't do shit but still. It was a very controversial subject.

Does anybody remember this game from around 2011-2014 called "The Nightmare"? The thumbnail had a lolcat with glowing eyes (picrel is not it but it's close enough). Gameplay was near identical to Contamination with the exception that you could buy weapons. One of the chapters took place in a destroyed hospital and another chapter had you fight Satan in hell.

I'm curious if anyone here remembers it since it seems to have completely disappeared from the internet despite it being relatively popular. I cannot find videos of it or anything. I'm not trying to make this a "le spooky lost media" thing I just want to see pics or videos of it since I have fond memories playing that game.

I liked being able to talk about roblox with other people in the same way I knew it, and learn of games that I otherwise wouldn't have. As roblox gets more stale, and the thread gets more populated with a "culture" that talks about the game in a way it doesn't interest me, I lurk less. Has anyone here tried Ro-Hockey World Tour on Roblox? I feel like you can have an unique experience playing it, but downside is you will be benched a lot on big servers since you have to cooperate with other players so maybe join a smaller one or forcefully create a new one. Depending on the gamemode, you can play a league, international tournament, but the catch is that you always play for team Roblox (or Dogwater depending on who you play, not joking). Also the newspapers can provide some interesting world building. For example I was recently playing in the Swedish League mode, and at some point Lulea HF was accused of match fixing. They won the next match 2-1... interesting. Didn't make playoffs in the end though.

(there's also roblox hockey manager made by the same guy, but its a barebones version so you probably wont like it)
