Best way to dump zeni is fusing magic gears to higher rarities, but fusing is outdated now since the game throws a bunch of magic drops on you and most characters have gacha/event exclusive magic gear or SS+ magic gear

I have been using yellow annerose as my yellow tank because she's ranked high but she's the weakest link the in the party. I assume she only gets good once she gets her equipment but I have not gotten it since I rolled her over a month ago. Is her equipment event restricted?

Also even if her stun is slow as shit, it lines up well with faster stuns so you chain them up instead of wasting overlap. For pve though summer beta is shaping up to be a good alternative because of how hard she scales with damage received debuffs, which new shadow/aurora throw at people in spades. The moment her debuff lands later you get like an extra 100% bonus or something, it’s wild.

Blue doesn't have many good tanks, it's just those 2 plus SF Alexia, the others just do exactly tanking with not much party support besides maybe a debuff.

If you can kill the hard boss within 5 battles, it is more time efficient but at least on par efficiency for guild ranking points. 2x stamina cost for 5 battles means you earn 10 guild points.
If you can kill the hard boss in fewer than 5 battles, it is not only more time efficient, but you earn many more ranking points for the guild. Higher guild ranking results in more phantasm gems.

I usually wait until I have enough "awards" to take down the hard guild boss by myself if my team is strong enough to do it in 5 or fewer battles. If my team is not good enough for efficiently killing the hard boss, I just auto-battle the normal whenever I feel like it.

When it was just one easier boss there were guilds that would get 1st/top 3 from rotating shitload of alts and doing many 2/3 hits for 1 point per kill. Alexia is only worth getting if you don't have Apoc Beta or other Speed/Offensive buffers.
She will probably see some off-meta use due to her DEF buff.

Alpha's SS+ relies too much on Student Delta to generate stacks to proc its effect.
Even if you manage to proc it, Alpha still lacks a multi-hit attack to take full advantage of the CRIT/ATK boost.

Zeta's SS+ seems to be just an alternative to her standard magic gear.
Her personal damage isn't that great and she lacks a way to proc the effect consistently.

There is 'main quest' mode that is basically the anime story exactly. It came out with the anime and hasn't continued since. Then there is the actual main story of the gacha, Seven Shadows Chronicles and then event stories. One event and one new chapter of chronicles will come out each month. All of that is original content. Chronicles is basically backstory or side stories for a chunk of the cast. Events are pretty similar, varying between kind of seasonal excuses for costume alts and more side stories type stuff. There's not a ton to the original story for the game though, it's neat extra for fan of the series but not enough on its own really.

And your friend is right. Could only recommend to someone desperate for more content when they finished up with main series. It is a pretty decent time to pick up though with 2.5 anni probably meaning very slightly less stinginess than usual.

For weapons, do as you will, I don't think the contents is so hard that you need them that much, even if they give a nice bonus. The powercreep is so strong and fast in this gacha, and they are quite stinky with gems too, so I would prioritize a new character over investing more in one, who might fall off sooner rather than later
