honestly unless you want mushoku tensei characters it's probably better to start now and get whatever currency you can (by logging in daily and claiming any gifts) for rolling before the banner you want to roll on starts, since you get to select 2 non-MT main characters from the season so if that limitation is to prevent you from selecting a character you can get from the gacha you can only guarantee yourself a character by starting when their gacha isn't running

I'm not sure if I'm going to like the planned Arena thingy though. The selling point seems to be taking pictures with your favorite characters on random scenes and there is no stamina system.

There is an item which can be used to upgrade characters rarity but I assume it will be rare

for anyone actually playing you can get an extra 1000 jewels for linking your account to one of the options for that and then logging into the BBS ( https://bbs.isekaiisekai.jp/ ) with the same account, and also another 1000 by logging into the web store ( https://store.isekaiisekai.jp/ ) with that account and redeeming the code "mushokutensei" through 2/7

Reincarnating from adventurer to a slime, sword, etc or the other way around on the reincarnation tree resets your characters levels so don't do it unless you have enough ether to level them up again.

it also resets/partially converts the non-stone ether you have to stones so make sure you have those

also make sure you're unlocking the new (permanent) abilities you get for having characters reach some goals, they can be pretty useful although most seem like they only sometimes randomly activate as far as i can tell

mentioned there's already content blocked by having R (3% chance from gacha only) units evolved/uncapped which can only be done by pulling dupes or getting the rarest item from the other in game gold gacha, and as a result the N units (27% chance from gacha only) are completely worthless in the long run as they max out at level 50 even with max dupes

notice 70% of the gacha isn't units either, just the puzzle pieces for part of your loadout which is actually neat but not when it's what you're going to get most of the time when pulling the gacha

also the steam version delay and mushoku tensei being the only crossover characters you can get from by pulling the gacha right now so there's no point in spending money if you don't want those

Locking max characters level behind dupes is shit. Shit characters unit AI. Story content is meh.

The good thing is there is no stamina system so you can auto grind the low drop rate puzzle pieces and random guaranteed random R units after certain amount of 10 rolls. The BBS is more entertaining than the game itself desu.

Has anyone managed to emulate this yet?

Mushoku is over. The Steam version is region locked anyway so you need to have a JP Steam account.

yeah the tensura part of the season began and it confirms there'll be two characters besides the MC you can get from the gacha for each series (rimiru, benimaru, and milim are the characters for the tensura gacha)

im not gonna bother trying a new account to see if the characters you can select when starting have changed to remove rimiru and add rudeus though

yeah, the more R characters you have the easier it should be, although some of them are mote difficult than others to get their extra skill to activate. ive got mukodah & sui, uncle, and roxy and while the first two's skills activate somewhat regularly I've never had roxy's skill activate (i think it's a healing skill that only activates at low health and either i never have the party reach low health or it just doesn't activate even if they do)
