He'll pretty much always be useful, especially if you're planning on running the core of Kaine+Tiziano because Tiziano wants 4 thieves in the party iirc and Bargello helps with that while also bringing passive buffs. Plus it means you can start working on buying a Bargello awakening stone from the exchange every month to get his A4, the best A4 in the game currently.

Low base attack stat. Sp condition on her double cast will likely eat into one of her accessory slots further reducing her damage. And there is only so much damage you can do with only 6 hits especially if she can't afford to equip a weaker brilliant axe to raise cap. Unless you are talking general story progress in which case go nuts.

Thief EX2 is NOT nice to me. Let me count the ways.

The Trial Thief blocks weaknesses from the get-go (normally she does this after you kill her henchman) and she blocks four of them at that. The henchman seems to always block dagger making him harder to break.

Meanwhile you got the henchman both adding shield points and putting shield guard on the Trial Thief.

Also if you kill the henchman first, the Trial Thief gets three actions per turn.

Canary’s Rapid Flutter does wonders in this round. Especially since the Trial Thief’s Shield Guard allows you to knock out three Shield Points before it kicks in.

Bargello EX is lol fan damage but Tatloch EX is great for dark if you're planning to get Emil from the upcoming Nier Replicant collab since she implants dark weakness. Not really needed though, as there aren't any dark weak bosses that can't be killed by a better team and the most busted future damage dealers pierce dark in their kit anyway.
As is appropriate for summer, it's basically just fan (pun unintended) service where they picked one of the best looking guys and one of the best looking girls to tempt people to spend.

In the early OT2 development, Gal was supposed to have an active role unlike in the OG, but was later replaced by Vide, and relegated to extra boss again. SS is basically the scrapped ideas for OT2 turned into a storyline.

Talking about the gods, it's criminal how they basically introduced the primordial deity "Solis", but the only stuff we know about him is that he sent one of his soldiers to fight one of Gal's fanatics and nothing else. BoA is definitely the weakest storyline of the 8, but the very prologue had more lore about the gods than every SS chapters put together.

As a late addition, I wasn't expecting the writers to recognize Vide, but it's kinda disappointing there wasn't even a mention of them in the solistian chapter. Unless they are planning to release another DLC in the OT2 explaining their backstory.

Maybe I'm just soft but I really like how there's an option to give some of the Hell NPCs the ability to move on. The first person I even checked was the burning guy and I was happy to see him as an option.

You heard correctly. Rydia/Ophilia EX has a great A4, but it's a collab A4 so that's whale-only territory. Cecil is still the best tank in JP to this day, so while it's devastating to me to have to wait even longer for Kaine (I've been eagerly anticipating this collab since its reveal on JP years ago, it's the only thing that kept me going during global's dark days), it does offer me the opportunity to regain some rubies after Hikari+Castti fucked me up (180 pulls for ONE Hikari, traded in my pity for Castti).

So unless you're a huge FFIV (which is understandable, there's a lot), this whole collab is a skip. Just make sure you do the limited time missions to max out Cecil for free. Before you ask, I don't know what they entail, sorry.

The final bestower arc has a pretty big difficulty spike. You really don't need a dagger unit, just focus on 2~3 DPS and have the rest support the party. Viola is pretty decent because she can debuff pretty well and she also has a 4 hit shield shave, so you can splash her on any lineup as a support

They are good stat sticks, I love the white rabbit for making someone go first with its high speed.
Lulu (Lolo's squirrel) can give someone essentially infinite SP, fun to use on someone like Fiore EX.
Chomper is essential, everyone should go buy it from the awakening shard exchange. It's a huge damage buff, capping a unique category of buffs all by itself. Airy is great for things like cascade battles, which seem to be the new endgame content going forward, as she gives you infinite uses of your ultimate with a long cooldown.
The bunny that provokes enemies has some niche uses too.

I spend them as soon as I get 10. I desperately want Jane, I should've saved mine for her but I couldn't resist. Probably wouldn't make a difference though. My pulls with traveler's seals and free pulls are hilariously atrocious compared to when I spend rubies, often requiring hundreds of pulls to get a mediocre 5* dupe.
And like the other guy said, limited travelers are never available from traveler's seals. Almost every single banner you see will be limited, I think there's only a couple more gen pool travelers coming at most.

If you have the rubies and you wanna use him a lot, definitely go for it. Who knows, you might lucksack a dupe and get U10 AND A1. But his U10 is his best use of a stone. Dude's ultimate can hit harder than any attack in the game, I've heard it can hit damage cap without the enemy being broken. Good luck!
