Picked up the game a couple days ago, what should I be focusing on in order to become strong? I wanna 1t the blue Astray boss (and hopefully farm it and the pilot from the event). I think I'm just under 99k total power on my best team and have just finished the Zeta story (but not the hard modes of each).

I did start last week, finished reading first Gundam story tonight!

God I hate this, I was so excited when I got a UR but looking at the target list I don't think I can make a team of 5 suits I like out of her, even looking at the ones I haven't obtained yet.
Also the tags feel delusional, why is the slow as shit Big Zam "lightning fast" but the Strike Freedom which basically noclipped through warzones not?

Got super lucky with pull. Also how far have you guys gotten in the event? I get really close to beating hard in one go but always come up short....

How anti-f2p is this? I'm really jonesing for a mobile mecha game that isn't just pvp.

Currently at 49 regular draw tickets, which I think is alright after 7 days. Planning on saving up 200 and getting either Sazabi EX or Barbatos. Dumb question, why is it the 6th Form? Does Japan actually like that one? I thought they liked the 4th form (since it looks the best but also got the MG kit).

For people who cant 1t event expert yet, you just need 2 lv100 attacker pilots + units, fill the rest with supports so you can debuff all your ex weapon attribute every turn. Bring your attackers closest to the boss

Debuff of same type doesnt stack, but ex weapon has multiple attribute so benefit from different debuff. You kill the mobs to stack mp also to prevent your weaker units killed

Are those last 10 levels super stat dense or is the GQuuuux bad? My 1* Strike Freedom EX at 100/100 using level 3 EX was doing 90k damage (max range) but my GQuuuuX at 92/90(her cap) using level 4 tomohawk was only doing 30k (max hp). Or is it because the tomohawk has no tags? For ref, I had 25% def down, 30% beam, 30% Phys, 20% Special.

Gqux weapon is pretty bad, only 2/3 power of sf, also only has 1 attribute so only get 1 attribute debuff. Plus pilot stats also matter a lot, ur pilots are so far ahead of non ur pilots. Gqux by itself isnt really good sp target, if you want to use sp on attacker, better use it on unit with 6k weapon power like sr freedom or one of the the zz gundam

Is The O limited, or will it be added to normal gacha at a later date? I'm not sure how to tell if a unit is temporary/limited or not

Zeta is limited, The O is not limited. Tap on 'Details/Drop Rate' to see whether something is limited. Justice Gundam is already added in 'Featured Unit Assembly' right after their banner ended but not 'Premium Unit Assembly', hopefully they do add it later but who knows

Can you get copies of the Red Gundam by capturing it? What if you skip?

I farmed the expert stage many times in it's original run because of those gold skill upgrade items and I got 4 dupes of the red gundam by capturing it so yes you can. Also right now It's still on the drop table for normal hard and expert stages.

You can, I got a second Over.on from skipping yesterday. Not sure if I'll keep it to build in the future or disassemble it. I'm not sure when I'd use it to be honest, since I mostly use squads made of suits and their actual pilots when I can.

Probably a tank like anon said, or you can get something to round out your debuffs/teams like Phoenix Power Unleashed for Phys DMG up or Nu (EX) for Special DMG up.
It also kinda depends on your supporter, if you're exclusively using a One Shot Killer team from Lacus/the other one getting an SSR you may not use until much later won't be helpful

Just play Crossray instead. Much easier to fine turning any girls you like into a super pilot instead of betting your luck with gacha and hope the girls you want doesn't come with a shit skill set.
