No, she is a good unit but it's more important to expand your barracks and get other characters to +10. Going to +10 takes 75 temporal, and +15 takes an additional 200(!!)
Her +15 upgrade isn't game changing, and the stat boost from red essence only gives you up to 5% total stats, in increments of 2.5%.
She's a good candidate for red essences but only after you upgrade other core characters (sonja, pesto, twins, smokey, reinier, bonnie, etc)

Hodgkin's one is pretty good, it gives him usefulness in pvp depending on the comp you're against and even against some bosses, he's probably gonna be crazy meta next rr.
Scarlita one is "good" but it doesn't adress any of her current weakness that makes her bad in pvp so she's still considered trash, don't have any hope for her.

I don't think I can do this anymore, there's way WAY too much shit to do every day and everything needs to have a ladder attached to it for some reason. Guess I'll just get my boy Daimon to supreme+ in a few days and then uninstall. Apart from when there is a new quest and map or one of the events with the board game the rest of the daily activities do not take much time if you do everything in auto. The most boring part is lucky flip, if you do not have a guild more than active it is very difficult to unlock everything.

We need to see how strong Merlin really is. We know that it doesn't take him long to cast defensive spells and the portal used in the quest but for example to purify he needs at least a few seconds, if to cast offensive spells requires time and concentration then when he is surrounded he has little hope of defending himself unless someone buys time for him.

Lucky flip is, as the name says, based on luck, I most of the time get copies of stuff I already have even when I use the three resets, simply in the current state it is not worth much if you are not a new player or you are trying to paragon one or more units.

It's not bad but it's badly balanced, apart from units like Talene the problem is that some are slow and do little damage so you are punished if you decide to use non "meta" units due to the time limit. Another problem is the opponents' rng, some are immune or resistant to certain types of attacks, if you get an opposing team with different immunities or resistances it becomes more difficult to find the winning team.

I agree that Sunlit is better than Honor, where it would be enough to improve the speed and matchmaking, but if they increased the daily possibilities and removed the time limit it would be an interesting mode to do at least once a day.

I think people overestimate the replayability of that mode. Once you figure out how to beat every possible enemy configuration, which there aren't that many of, it will get pretty boring.

Just make sure to primarily use damage dealers otherwise you'll time out. Also some characters like Talene or Athalia can cheat the rules so make sure to abuse them when. Certain other characters are capable of soloing entire enemy teams under specific conditions, for example Vala/Nara/Valka/Lenya can solo almost anything as long as they don't get cc'd, Rhys can solo melee compositions, Soren can solo ranged teams, Odie/Sinbad can solo tank teams etc. It's just a matter of learning which characters are good against what.

I fish every day in all the lucky spots and besides being tedious you don't get many keys and once you get all the fish there is no sense of novelty anymore. Considering that Honor is unfair and labyrinth is always the same thing, trying to get as many keys as possible becomes exhausting if you are not part of an active guild. it's one of the reasons why I like AFKJ, it doesn't suffer from the same disease that other gachas suffer from and the fact that monetization comes more from ranking and not from the characters, developers can dare in the story. Velara in Genshin, WuWa and other games would be very difficult to sell for what she did, but in AFKJ if she turned out to be a must have unit, players wouldn't care who she killed or if she's evil.

Whether she's good or bad is up for debate, you have to put yourself in the shoes of that wilder community, probably many would have done the same thing in the face of the risk of breaking a fragile balance.

She is very niche pvpwise so do not pull her for that, however she seems a possible better replacement over Mikola in DR. If you don't care about bossing then you can skip her but if you wanna keep your rankings stable you will most likely have to pull her, S+ is needed for max potential.

No, most of AFKJ advertising has nothing to do with the game, the only original things are the 3D models and some artwork, and even the gameplay is different most of the time. The game isn't a waifu/husbando game, the developers try to sell characters, but ultimately the real monetization comes from rankings and PvP, if a character isn't worth anything in terms of gameplay, it won't sell, except in rare cases.

The only way is to treat it as a side-side-side game, the developers have clearly demonstrated that they are not capable of managing a game with both pvp and pve content. The only interesting things to do each season are the story and exploration, once you're done with those, all that's left to do is do the dailies and log out. Pvp has been ruined by the paragon advantage, and pve is always the same old story. Events, when interesting, are a pain in the ass because of how long it takes to get the rewards, and the new characters are primarily pvp-oriented. The Labyrinth is forgotten, Honor Duel is pure RNG, and fishing gets boring after a while. Considering the game has several problems, the developers also had the great idea of selling Talene's skin for $150-$200, since this isn't a game where you use characters in an overworld, that's a ridiculous price for something you see for a few minutes a day until Talene becomes totally obsolete, of course.

I would have preferred something story-related, for example, Merlin has to revive an old dwarven settlement in the season's area, and like the fishking, you can continue even after the season ends.

Overall, it's not a bad mode, but once you reach level 3 of all buildings, you start to have to wait since you have to use stamina to produce goods, and it only recharges by 500 per day.
