This only goes up to Candy Apple+Shadow Milk's release, as they stopped recording the lines (either because they didn't do it with the Chinese version's Cookies and didn't feel it's necessary, because they started getting spread, or both).

Development was shifting a little around the time Chickpea was scrapped. He had a character ID (cookie2013), face sprite, and standing portrait sprite, but nothing else. Also, it didn't jump straight from Buckwheat to First Choco; we still had Poinsettia in the middle (who had to be released for the holidays).
Jelly Bean's playable-animation assets are complete; Chickpea's never got started.

Got into the final phase when you had a gazillion hearts. Otherwise I usually get destroyed after round 4 because my group is always full of korean juggernauts.
This time I only got crushed in preliminaries, after my groups were really low level. But hey, at least I got the costume!

Liked Cherry Cola Cookie, Everything Pie Cookie had a good design, Taurus Cookie was pretty great but hated the fuck out of her skill so I ended hating her as well (round 1 of GCL wasn't very pleasant kek). Cream Ferret Cookie and Caramel Choux Cookie are quite cute, it's rare to get 2 good releases in the same month. Nothing will ever outclass my wife Spinach Cookie though.

A full run using the featured cookie for the bonus points gives you like 7 draws at best with an abysmally low chance of getting an SSS buff before the guarantee hits. And once it does, it's still a total coinflip on whether or not you get the actually useful buff you need to compete in the higher ranks. Now repeat this for all three of the buffs for maximum suffering. I can't even hit L+ for the mission after god knows how many runs because I keep getting fucked by RNG and rolling the wrong buffs.
Every time they use this system it just kills all of my motivation to play.

it's also *very* rewarding to new players, almost overbearingly so. there's a lot to get used to but once you get down a routine of just clicking every button with a red notification circle and getting free shit all the time you're basically chilling

- Longan Dragon's story will be the primary focus of the game from the next update onward, with almost every update tying into it for the rest of 2025.
- The new director envisions EVERY area between all the games as one big Earthbread, even if canon events are different between them (e.g. what happens in OvenSmash isn't canon to Ovenbreak, but Platter City (where OvenSmash takes place) exists in Ovenbreak nonetheless.

- September: The story grows. An evil cult leader (Legendary) wants to unseal the Black Dragon, a destroyer which all five of the other dragons' combined power sealed away. We're introduced to the Martial Realm, made up of clans specializing in different martial arts. Peach+Plum+Gen. Jujube are in one clan, and have to stop the evil cult from doing its thing.
- October: New Cookie Detective story, with Walnut and Roguefort on the cruise ship S.S. Escargot, owned by the fancy lady Escargot Cookie. (There will be some sort of background tie-in to the Longan story somehow but that isn't the focus)
- November: Teddy-bear Legendary representing childhood innocence + Milky Way debut, forming a trio with Dreamweaver.

I play Tower of adventures with no voice instead of Korean. No offense but they sound very calm and serious in contrast to the nonstop giggles and grunts of the no voice version that gives them a more wacky feeling...also the emotes sound more like the no sound version too.
