He's kb immune. Immune to most if not all cc, actually, but you can use the basic Cat Cannon to interrupt him once (or twice), since he's not immune to waves.

trying to save back up again but it's slow going, but we still have a good bit of time surely

I shot down Theatre of Fear and finished 3* UL a few days later, beating all 4 boss stages in a ~1.5 hour recording (and made a 20 min highlight tape). Now I am unwilling to do the subchaps one last time- 4* UL is fucking boring as I can't use my wife in ANY MORE LINEUPS. It was fun labouring through stat inflation for 10 months and 10 days with Miku in tow, but now I feel lazy, more so with her getting powercrept in Jan. I might as well post my daki when I feel like it...
Also, the collab gauntlets, like Tower of Saviors, are half as long, with half the rewards and leaderships. Not to mention they cap off at UL 1* strength too. There's more than 1 though, and the ticket farming stage has no limit; the units cap off at +20 so I am seeing this to possibly be Toshi's replacement with gradual increments of + levels on the EX units. As a side note, they MUST trade Merc Storia for Blue Archive.

Would he be a good choice for 11+ Gigahani? I currently have Mushroom on my team to deal with Gabriels and Gokurakkus, but it's not Curse immune, so its Massive Damage might mean nothing at all (assuming it'll even survive a hit from either of the Relics). Bubble meanwhile not only also targets the two Angels, but the Mooth and the Stonefish as well. I'd test it out, but I'm out of Energy.

Man, Jack Hammer really hammered my ass in. It took me 12 attempts (and far too many items) to beat that last level.

Finally done with Round 5 in 2 crown. The behemoth owl, wingged pigge and goku is a deadly combination.

Honestly, Luna trivializes that stage. I had more trouble with the Aku one, and even that's mostly because I baited the initial spawns too close to my base and forgot about boss spawning on a timer, so when my stack got KB'd behind my base, the peons shredded my max level base in second.
I've reached level 5 again, already failed once, waiting to reach 200 again. This time I'll spawn enough peons so that Cala Maria has a harder time hitting my TF Issun Boshis, hopefully that way they'll survive longer.
If that doesn't work, I'm iteming up. On Monday, I still have like 6 more Retsu dupes to farm from the event gacha, so the Colosseum can wait.

I finished my big honking datasheet of all the units and their evolution costs. Now it's time to learn how to turn it into a website with all the bells and whistles you'd expect.
Here's a fun little factoid: out of basic Catfruit, the one you'll need the most (at 430) is the Blue one, but when it comes to Seeds, Blue's the one you'll need the least of (65), and Red's the opposite (388 Fruit and 84 Seeds).
Now, for the real reason I've made the list in the first place: as of v14.4, you'll need a grand total of eight Golden Catfruit Seeds (AKA clear Floor 30 of Infernal Tower 8 times) to be able to evolve all the units that require it.
As for people farming Growing Strange: your goal is 18 Elder Catfruit and 5 Seeds on top of that.
And since you're probably also farming Growing Epic, you need 48 Epic Seeds.

I didn't start Labyrinth until I grabbed all the Baki units with the Guarantee, and now I'm at B55F with 200+ units left. And it's clear as to what I did on Gigahani. I'd rather grind it the hard way with Tokyo Miku instead of NTR'ing for efficiency. Speaking of which, I beat Round 4 of the Twin Uber Colo with only Miku for the sake of it.
And on UL 4*. It's so fucking dull to the point that I am only willing to report milestone clears. If need calls, I will post images from my Miku folder. Sonic collab has everyone bowing to Ponos but I am pissed, and will remain pissed until I start playing Blue Archive.
And I decided to save crystals for the next Colorful Festival so I would not leave empty handed like last time.

Since I track, there's no surprise I got all the new units, I'm not gonna talk about that. Instead, I finally got Fortune Teller Cat/Doctor Cat to +40, meaning now all my gacha Rare Cats are past the "mid-way through plus levels" threshold. Meanwhile, three more Cats reached the +50 Club.

Got all the Baki ubers and pic related with three 10+1 pulls and 40+ tickets.

Although to be fair, you also get Aku Seeds from monthly Gauntlets II or from Infernal Floors 10/20 (randomly from a pool of them, Epic and Elder Seeds), with a sum total of 253 Seeds needed (49 Fruit an 8 separate Seeds) it would be nice to get a stage qith better drops. Make it an Enigma or something, so it's rare enough to not "ruin the game economy" and have it drop a full Fruit.

With any luck and good timing (it's important to not Spawn either Yuki right into Pterowl's attack. They have Survive as well, but after that a light breeze will kill them) you'll manage to kill Pterowl before Pigge kills your stack. Then it's a question of not letting it get to the base until you can spawn your anti-angels again (Thunder Jack is also Attack Down immune, so he works well).
My tenth unit was Luke from the Street Fighter collab, he's Strong against Traited and has chance of Savage Blow, so he does some damage. But if you're gonna try and copy this team, you can put whoever.
Rich Cat and Sniper used, cannon was Thunderbolt.

I know Hanayama's considered the best Aku counter in the game but I already have enough anti-Aku units and he's got a huge windup. Baki's general purpose kit with Zombie Killer and Hammer's metal killer seem more immediately useful

this labyrinth came way too fast so I didn't get further than last time, some number around 80. I know en players cried about not having the mode for too long but now it's just tiring to go through if I know I won't get much further than last time anyways, I only got maybe 10 or less new cats. yet still feel forced to do it because of the insanely limited dark eyes as reward. carefully rebuilding your deck 80+ times and micromanaging what good units to save is so much of a chore to bring it back in 2 months.

It's a special mode with special rules.
>First, you build a team (HAS to be a full team of 10)
>You clear the first stage with your team
>After you clear the stage, a random number of units on your team get blocked from further use, also chosen at random
>Sometimes, also seemingly at random, you get a chance to "rescue" one and only one of them

You can't hope to reach the final stage unless you have around 500 units. But you should at least try to clear Floor 10 if you have enough units, that's where the first Dark Catseye drops. Although I'm not sure what happens if you haven't gotten to User Rank 1600 which unlocks Catseyes in the first place.

Honestly, I'm not so happy that it dropped so soon after the last one either (and I'm pretty sure the bulk of the complains from the first time it was around were centered around how often it dropped, too), but at least it makes me appreciate units I don't usually use. Last time it was Ganesha, now it's the Ice Cat clones.
Thundias are still trash though, and only good for the tits.

rush the stage you can clear xp bonanza with money combos, manic eraser, slime, bahamut in under a minute. the first thoseguys spam can be slime waved and instantly fills your money to spawn bahamut and dps shred the base, it spawns 2 aku gories though but if you meatshield well and bahamut hits them (especially with blast) they just die and you win.

>Aku Realms is actually kind of the complete opposite because of how Aku Altars work (units start, being capped at level 1 in Aku Realms, getting their level cap raised with each stage completed), so you should probably try it out, especially if you got good Aku Ubers.
>Bahamut Talents aren't locked behind SoL completion, and are rather locked behind CotC2 completion (which unlocks Valkyrie Trial, which then unlocks Bahamut Trial). Though it's recommended to clear CotC3 for the anti-starred treasure since the other major enemy in that talent stage; Star Doge, is buffed if you don't.
What 9-star stage in SoL are you at right now? You should probably start CotC, especially since Alien Treasures in the former is a soft-requirement to finishing SoL towards the end and is basically a requirement for Bahamut's talent stage otherwise you're not going to be able to cycle the Starred Doge. There's also advent stages for stuff which are pretty important as well. You shouldn't really worry about Stars to be honest, since factors like ubers/different setups/understanding how a stage operates can let you clear stuff that's like 1-2 stars above where you're at.
Slime Cat is a notable example, dropping from a 10 star stage (and having a TF unlock from an 11 star stage which is really easy to cheese), which tends to get used in Bahamut Trial (a 9 star stage) to help clear the Starred Doge

You could probably clear out Infected King, just requires a bit of luck on the Weedwacker freeze for the Big Sal. Made even easier if you have Catjobs for the weaken, since it lets you tank hits on your base, which can buy you enough time to stack Weedwackers for permafreeze. The more aids part is having to lure out and kill Camelles.

professor catjobs, gardener/healer together permafreeze, mighty bomburr, piledriver cat all are able to either chain kb or stunlock the big sal when it's on your base (dont spawn them early or you risk it just burrowing bellow before the cc stunlock, you use its attack animation startup when it gets to your base to lock it in and not let it finish the attack)

it's also theoretically possible to kill it by brute force by chipping it down whenever it comes up from burrow + zkill but depending on unit levels that's just harder than the crowd control units method. be aware that big sals debut stage spawns like 4 fucking camelles on base hit though so bringing something tanky / ranged to deal with them later is good too.

They're decent, depending on what else you have.
Baki's chance to Shield Shatter sure is helpful against Aku, but since it's still just a "chance", you're still reliant on the RNG. So in the future, you'll want to find a100% Shield Piercer. Hit Zombie Killer and Crit chance are interesting additions, and they mean he brings something extra to mixed stages, but by no means should he be your primary anti-zombie or anti-metal.
I don't use Metal Killers often enough to speak about that part of Jack Hammer's abilities, but Weakening his target traits for 5/6 of the time between his attacks is pretty decent, I guess.

If you're new enough that you need to ask then the answer is yes. Almost all ubers will help you clear early game content regardless if they specialize in the content you're facing or not. Ubers in general are good units with very few being outright bad.

I've only looked at jackhammers stats and never used him but based on his stats, that omni range + weaken duration are the main selling point, his slow attack rate / low damage makes his damage output vs metal and zkill more a bonus, making him look more like a support unit you'll use to apply weaken on enemy crowds, but his hp is nice. you definitely want a different unit as attacker paired with him though.

How far along are you on Stories of Legend? Once you've unlocked Musashi, you'll be at Enigma Level 4 and unlock Hunter's Map 2, with its own dedicated green stone stage. I mean, sure, getting Hunter's Map is behind even more rng than getting any specific color from Behemoth Culling stages, but once you've got it, you're guaranteed to get what you want, at least.

Is there anywhere I can find a unit guide? I've been playing this game for a few months now and I have been playing around with all the units and upgrading them. Assuming you're fairly early: weightlifter into pizza cat is going to be your big powerhouse. But yes, rocker into ramen, as is jurassic. Salon into cyborg is also a good backliner. Don't forget about spaming like four different cheap meatshields.

Have you finished CotC3? If so, invest in Superfeline now that it's available, if not, finish it so you can get it, THEN invest in him.
Also, it'll be a good idea to work towards clearing Floor 40 of Heavenly Tower, just so you unlock Infernal Tower - that way, you'll be able to TF Hermit Cat (that you'll get from clearing Floor 30 of HT), another f2p anti-Relic unit.
Other than that: try farming Growing Strange and True Forming Figure Skating Cats, they basically become Anti-Relic Pizza. And speaking of Pizza, you could try using him too, even without Black targeting his attacks pack quite a punch.
Also: a lot of meatshields, and see if you have any units resistant to Curse.

Gigapult has overlap as a support/tank as well (250k HP + resist and guaranteed weaken on two traits). Depending on how often you use Ganesha, I'd say that in general UF'ing Katapult provides more value via making a shit uber into a strong generalist + almost absurd specialist uber, as opposed to making an already strong uber just slightly stronger.

Starting the game on the jp version was definitely the right choice, whoever suggested it is a man of integrity

Just her Wave Stop makes her valuable, and combined with her Red targetting, she's a perfect counter for Deonil (since you've mentioned Behemoths). She also has Zombie Slayer, another very useful ability, and more importantly, Relic targetting, which is *always* nice, especially since you don't even need an Elder Catfruit (or even a Seed) to unlock it. And with Aliens also being targeted, she covers a surprising amount of mixed stages.
Most importantly, she has Explosion, and since it's such a new ability, there's no enemy that's immube to it (except for the enemy variant of Baki Hanma, but since it's a collab exclusive, we won't have to worry about it for quite some time).

red is common earlygame, alien has 6 entire chapters (itf and cotc) around them, zombies have tons of outbreaks and are considered one of the hardest traits in the game, relic is relevant late game and infernal floor 30, 40, 49 and 50 are considerably easier with luna. though to be fair modern day anti relic units like idi + doron combos melting everything or zero luza make it not as scary of a trait anymore anyways.

There's no guessing. center Explosion alone shoots up Citadel's DPS to 22k (max attack talents) which is on par with Dasli. Then you factor in shit like Explosion Soulstrike + KB, Citadel's having higher HP/KB Count/standing Range than Dasli and the 150% strengthen that shoots it up to 33k DPS.

I finished 4* UL in a 1 month blitz and proceeded to fell Zero Luza and Nova in succession. It took me only 357 days to finish Starred UL with majority of the time spent on stat inflation. Also, 4* was the worst part because I could not use Miku, and the levels were incredibly boring.
Also, I have started draining my tickets going after Dark Eyes. Seems we have no worthwhile investment this patch- Bomburr set everyone up for high expectations and then pulled the rug on everyone by slowing its attack rate and giving it a 50% chance to Blast. And while 12 star Legend stages are alluring, the new Tackey is going to be a headscratcher.
Also, I'm chasing Crystals so I can get a certain card, and am going after A Thousand Blazing Suns. I don't want a Lumidouce Elegy just like what happened with Silvershower Heartstrings!

Two of them do (so far), the oldest ones - first one dropped in March of 2023, the second one in June of 2024, so infrequently enough that one might miss it if not going through every new version update with a fine-tooth comb.
If the pattern holds, the next Legend TF should be introduced this September, and since, as I've said, both Legends with TFs are from the first update to introduce them, it's reasonable to assume the next one would be the third Legend to come out in the same update, which would be Jeanne.
But it's all just assumptions at this point.

I've got a legend spot at 40B. Which is fine, because I can grab all the collab units and finish right before it (and I mean RIGHT before it, pic related). There's even room for one regular Uber for me to grab from the other banners (which is another way of saying I need to spend extra 1500 CF so things line up right).
None of them are really vital (except maybe Windy for the UF, but if I survived this long without her, I'm not really pressed to grab her), so I'm wondering what I should do.
I could grab Akira and have the complete set of Dynamite Ubers (until they drop another one, probably in 14.6 knowing my luck), or I could grab one of: Windy/Kai/Myrcia or Kamukura/Sodom/Raiden.
There's also the question of if I should sit on the Legend spot until Bikkuriman (lol)/Eva drop on EN (which would have to happen after the Anni, and that would mean I couldn't pull on the Superfest) or if I should grab one of the legend rares I'm still missing (Doc H/Legeluga/Babel).

Since I first started getting Talent Orbs, I've been told that Attack Ups are only good as an NP source, but now that I went to the wiki to check out Bahamut's Talents other than Baha Blast, and they're claiming that actually, an Attack Up would be great on him.

in terms of the most broken ubers they try to design against them in endgame. like miko mitama used to be top 3 ubers easily for years but stage design and new enemy designs were shifted to counter her, similarly a lot of behemoth enemies have surge immune or even countersurge to mess with the surge attack reliant dark kasli that also was a broken top uber. in both of these cases these ubers are still very strong throughout most of the game and just have those stages later on that counter them.

battle cats releases true forms, ultra forms and talents as ways of improving units after theyre released, where you can spend your in game resources to upgrade them further. so theres cases where some underdog ubers or ubers that have old "outdated" stats drastically improve through some updates.

Tokyo Miku got that treatment in Dec/Jan no thanks to Luna and I've been pissed off ever since because it's my WIFE who suffered.

Yes. Thanks to newer mechanics for the most part, many older units are usable in endgame settings. Except certain collab units...
Also, meta ubers and LRs are not mandatory to clear 95% of the game. You do NOT want to know what I did in Starred UL, but I sure miss those days.

just use doron and dps pin him to the base, only the final variant, zero luza is freeze immune. also luza is an uber killer kind of boss, majority of ubers are outranged by him and die in 1 or 2 attacks. having expendable faster cooldown units is more effective in that case if you cant outrange him. even without bahablast you can probably take out a third or half of his hp by having bahamut and doron + additional melee units like cancan and fishman attack him while frozen. I've managed to almost one cycle him with a single doron by using balrog

While the Ubers only account for 5% of the pulls, the Uber pool only consists of the four of them, while Shadow Cat has to share the Rare pool with the 25 regular Rare Cats. Count yourself lucky there isn't a Super Rare collab unit you could try to get, those are actually the rarest of them all.

You know, I hope that if and when Sonic collab returns, they introduce some actual enemies from the games as enemies. Like the Witches during Madoka collab, or shit, even back when they dropped the World Trigger collab they had an enemy-only unit.
Only taking Uber sprites, flipping them horizontally and using them as the only enemies is kinda lameand lazy, especially when we're talking about an IP multiple recognizable antagonists.
And nothing stops them from turning the enemies into units later on, for the next rerun.

I believe when I built my team several cycles ago I took Pizza out for the final levels since he'd never reach the enemies, and replaced him with Chief to deal with Zuche corpses. On top of Atlantis Logistix, because at those final levels Chief isn't strong enough to 1HKO a Zuche.
But that left me with no cheap anti-Black damage dealers for continuation stages, so the Boxer Ks shred my tanks and what little I can spawn (Chiefs and Fishmen). Maybe it's time to buy the Soulstrike Talent for Atlantis... or maybe I could just replace Fishman with Pizza, since at the final levels he does jack shit to the Owlbrows anyhow.

I've decided to post my farming strats and other strats which I find helpful because I feel guilty not releasing my Necrodancer permafreeze strat for Nobunaga last month. My blogposting plans are still restricted to new update season and all major events but I am willing to release general and farming decks.
I'm also really pissed off over a C1 Diluc; that's why picrel happened.

I know he's nothing really special and I'm pretty midgame (I think, beat COTC1)
but my level 40 knuckles has been really satisfying with all his flaws

And it's OK to like Knuckles, no one says you should only care about top tier meta units. Fact of the matter is that at the point of the game you're at right now, most ubers will do the trick. It's why I still have soft spots for both Raiden and Vars (Nekoluga too).
