#STOPKILLINGGAMES
How do you do fellow Gachagooners

How do you guys feel about games depending on centralised servers being killed?
How many gacha's survived after their companies got killed or they were no longer supported for you to see the .pngs you paid for?
Do you think your current favourite games will live on in some form if they depend on centralised servers?

For short, do you believe you should be able to keep a game you bought and be able to play it without the devs randomly deciding to break it after you gave them money?

Well you're in luck, if you live in the EU you should sign this European Citizens Initiave to receive some basic consumer rights that will hopefully trickle down to the other continents.

Want to know more about the initiative or how to sign?

Gachafags should be happy
This initiative means that no gacha which sells you virtual stuff i.e. all of htem cannot be shut down in a way which would leave them unplayable
So every gacha would be shut down the same way megaman gacha was

How does "if you're gonna EoS at least make an offline version of your game" kill gacha games? If anything it's just a secondary passive revenue stream for the devs after they shut the game down.

I think companies will retire their games from the EU
The European audience isn't that big

They are about 20% of the market. They are definitely not the biggest slice of the pie but they are big enough that nobody will be willing to pull out.

No CEO ever will be willing to say, ahh yeah we will drop 1/5 of our income over this.

how do you "pirate" a online game dumbass? its not possible without developing a server or modify the game to run offline(that I think they block that with some protection codes)

youd think this would affect gacha enjoyers more than anyone else. they dont really have that level of foresight though-- given they are the raped

"Not owning your games" only makes sense for free2play online games. For premium games if companies claim that we don't own games, then it's fair to pirate them since piracy isn't stealing. ;)

I don't give a shit about dead microtransaction games nobody cared about besides the faggot who started SKG.

Call me back when they start a more meaningful petition like "Stop ruining video games to pander to Jewish investors".

All the gachaslop i consoom are made in asia so this initiative is about as useless as an online petition is

the entire concept is dumb as hell. if you don't want publishers to do this, stop supporting them! having government-mandated private servers for every failed MMO and mobile game is not going to work.

also, anything worth "preserving" has youtube lets plays etc., you don't need to literally keep every video game ever created in a playable state forever. nobody in the right mind gives a shit about Concord or "The Crew" (whatever that is)
