ubisoft get comfortable not owning games STOPKILLINGGAMES
How do you do fellow Gachagooners

How do you guys feel about games depending on centralised servers being killed?
How many gacha's survived after their companies got killed or they were no longer supported for you to see the .pngs you paid for?
Do you think your current favourite games will live on in some form if they depend on centralised servers?

For short, do you believe you should be able to keep a game you bought and be able to play it without the devs randomly deciding to break it after you gave them money?

Well you're in luck, if you live in the EU you should sign this European Citizens Initiave to receive some basic consumer rights that will hopefully trickle down to the other continents.

Gachafags should be happy
This initiative means that no gacha which sells you virtual stuff i.e. all of htem cannot be shut down in a way which would leave them unplayable
So every gacha would be shut down the same way megaman gacha was

How does "if you're gonna EoS at least make an offline version of your game" kill gacha games? If anything it's just a secondary passive revenue stream for the devs after they shut the game down.

I think companies will retire their games from the EU
The European audience isn't that big

They are about 20% of the market. They are definitely not the biggest slice of the pie but they are big enough that nobody will be willing to pull out.

No CEO ever will be willing to say, ahh yeah we will drop 1/5 of our income over this.

how do you "pirate" a online game dumbass? its not possible without developing a server or modify the game to run offline(that I think they block that with some protection codes)
