Having bought the business pass I can see why people are complaining it should give more. It gives better value than most other things you can buy. Converted to bells, it gives 16 rolls for $18 instead of buying it outright for 10 rolls for $18. I feel like they could have bumped it by 60-120 gems to give us at least the $1 value per roll. But it's also not terrible.

The thing that I feel bums people out the most is the amount of rolls you get from paying compared to how much you get from actually playing the game. The pass would have only given me around 8-10 rolls between banner changes, but during that time, I collected more than 100 rolls.

The hook-up bonuses is really nice though. The extra playroom lets to unlock more bonds faster and the playcards cards can be save for new buddies. If you want to unlock or max out your bonds faster, I would totally get this. It feels more like a hook-up pass with a gem rebate than a way to get cheap rolls.

I've found Baade to be more useful as Wood enemies are generally more annoying and dangerous to deal with. There aren't any Fire healers and the only really threatening Fire characters that need to be taken out in battles are Baade himself and Tayangsuyi (Dallawan can be annoying when he gets his buffs off but that's about it). Whereas with Wood, you have the Choi bros, 2 healers with Kyrian and Kantos, Beernox, annoying CC characters like Guala and Khafka, and Kumo with his annoying 3 turn taunt. So it's nice to have a powerful Fire damage dealer like Baade that can quickly take him out. His 2 turn cooldown on his EX is pretty OP too desu

I've been using Baade, Tayangsuyi, Dallawan, Shib, and Akaoni. I would say Baade, Tayangsuyi, and Dallawan are mandatory, especially when you get Dallawan to 2 stars as his basic attack has a chance to trigger a huge ATK boost for everyone. The last 2 characters can be a tossup. Shib is basically the only "healer" as he can give everyone a barrier on his EX and also has a chance to grant a barrier on basic attacks. I've just been using Akaoni as my last slot just for the hell of it simply because he has all the bonus passives compared to the L and M characters. I don't actually use his taunt and just use him as an additional damage dealer. For some fights in the tower, especially against Water enemies, you need every bit of damage possible. The only other character I can think of using is Spunk, whose EX move makes the target take additional fire damage. So you can set up a nuke on one target by buffing with Dallawan, using Spunk's EX, and then using Baade's and Tayangsuyi's EX moves to finish off a target. All the other fire characters look like trash honestly

Which one? Baade and Tayangsuyi are definitely the best fire characters so if you can level those guys up that's optimal. Dallawan is the 3rd best fire character and necessary for some of the harder fights later on in tower so I'd definitely recommend investing in him. Shib and Akaoni aren't great but are farmable like Dallawan at least in the hard stages. Paddy isn't a horrible fire damage dealer if you can't get Baade or Tayangsuyi. You can use Beernox in your team as well to buff your fire characters ATK as well

Dallawan has some nice buffs but he's a little more random as he depends on chance to get them. His EX gives a big healing received boost for everyone on top of an atk boost which is nice. He can also deal damage which Beernox can't do. Beernox gets the healing received boost on his 3rd passive but it's only on the lowest health target. I think Beernox is better once you really invest in him from a pure support perspective. Dallawan is still really good and he's really helpful for the fire tower and certain fights

He was an easy to build character that wasn't resource heavy like XXLs so you didn't need to grind to build him to be a turbodamage DPS. It was a budget speed build that allowed you to save gold shards for XXLs you wanted down the line while purple shards are bascially expendable to use solely on Yuhee.

Now that the devs nerfed him you need to log in and grind for months or shell out for money packs to get the same level of comfort clearing endgame content so the game basically became pay to win.

Technically, it was both the sword girl and healer girl.
Sword girl had multiplicative damage modifiers that scaled infinitely based on combo count.
Combo count is not reset until you land on a flipper.
Healer girl heals AND her special skill also keeps party afloat longer for longer combos.
They didn't actually nerf the characters directly; it was the grindable wind weapons that were nerfed instead. So instead of wind dominating all content for all elements, it just dominated wind content instead after the nerf.
Still a shitty move to roll out that banner before the weapon nerf though.

The gameplay itself kinda sucks. It is the teambuilding mixed with resource managment that is fun. Once the start of this game is over I am sure most if not all of them will quit.

They're better off playing other games since this game follows the years old formula of casual Chinese gacha game.

Low spenders' options for teambuilding will be restricted to farmable characters.

Try-hard events will be introduced eventually for you to use your built guys to acquire some event exclusives but that should probably be 2-3 months after launch.

Gems will be important for try-hard events to get all the rewards so going all in on bells can potentially screw you over if your hoard isn't at like 3k-4k gems. Some games go further and require you to use paid currencies(H-Coin in this game's case) to get the juiciest rewards.
