Having bought the business pass I can see why people are complaining it should give more. It gives better value than most other things you can buy. Converted to bells, it gives 16 rolls for $18 instead of buying it outright for 10 rolls for $18. I feel like they could have bumped it by 60-120 gems to give us at least the $1 value per roll. But it's also not terrible.
The thing that I feel bums people out the most is the amount of rolls you get from paying compared to how much you get from actually playing the game. The pass would have only given me around 8-10 rolls between banner changes, but during that time, I collected more than 100 rolls.
The hook-up bonuses is really nice though. The extra playroom lets to unlock more bonds faster and the playcards cards can be save for new buddies. If you want to unlock or max out your bonds faster, I would totally get this. It feels more like a hook-up pass with a gem rebate than a way to get cheap rolls.

I would say Baade, Tayangsuyi, and Dallawan are mandatory, especially when you get Dallawan to 2 stars as his basic attack has a chance to trigger a huge ATK boost for everyone. The last 2 characters can be a tossup. Shib is basically the only "healer" as he can give everyone a barrier on his EX and also has a chance to grant a barrier on basic attacks. I've just been using Akaoni as my last slot just for the hell of it simply because he has all the bonus passives compared to the L and M characters. I don't actually use his taunt and just use him as an additional damage dealer. For some fights in the tower, especially against Water enemies, you need every bit of damage possible. The only other character I can think of using is Spunk, whose EX move makes the target take additional fire damage. So you can set up a nuke on one target by buffing with Dallawan, using Spunk's EX, and then using Baade's and Tayangsuyi's EX moves to finish off a target. All the other fire characters look like trash honestly

Baade is a consistent single target nuke no matter what, his bossing will be better than Yuhee.
Using both on the same team is very strong, Yuhee is essential for picking off annoying enemies to make things easier.

Then take out the fire bull. If you can kill both bulls by turn 4 you should be in good shape. If you're still having trouble you can replace Tayangsuyi with a wood buddy like Yuhee or Khafka to help with Orem himself

I think tank characters will continue to be sucky until either game implements this gimmick or jumps the gun and gives them 80% damage mitigation to compensate them receiving up to 5 targets worth of damage. For reference by the time Granblue (pic related) powercreep added this, a middling build oriented entirely to ATK could easily reach 20k HP, a more generalist one 45k, and an endgame one for hard content that actually requires survival +80k.

Since you're new I'd rip enough silver bells to at least get 1 XXL off the banner and unlock the XXL selector and daily free silver bell pull at 88 pulls. I have no idea if new accounts are still able to get that 7th day free XXL choice between Kyrian Meng and Beernox but if you do you can coast off the game with any of those 3 supports. (Beernox the best choice at the moment)
As for gold bells, save them for a future character you like

Think that's about it? Honestly have fun with the game, I don't know if you'll be into hardcore pullmaxxing if you're just looking for a quick jerk, but this is how most people are prepping their pulls for the future characters.

Baade can be replaced for another healer since Meng here is at 0 stars, provided you're way too much damage. When the boss does his defense debuff on you, always defend, no exceptions.
This fight is really hard and you need stats to punch through and eat some AoE's of you can't pass the DPS check.
Also invest in the skills, max out Beernox's standard attack and your main healer's as well. If you have any leftovers invest it in a main attacker, but funnel most things into a main support and healer since you'll be slotting those in many teams while your DPS will have to to rotate to match the boss weak point. If you have Kyrian at a higher star level he'll perform a bit better than Meng. I had him at two stars and figured I might as well use him over Meng, even if Meng has fatter heals.
This game really depends on dupes to get the most out of your units. Prioritize any XXL's you're close to 3-starring since they'll outshine almost everything by a mile. If your XXL's are stuck at 0 stars, any XL, L and M will outshine them easy after getting them to an appropriate star level (0XXL = 1XL/ 2L/ 3M star power wise).
Forget the event, I can't beat Extreme Peaks 47 I just get obliterated by turn 3
