I think there isn't really anything that you missed, even costumes usually release like 3-4 months later in the store. You can hit a weapon for a story or low rarity unit, and some EX units like Olivia and Famenne are still worth using without their weapon. If you're picking up all the trash pulls, sure that makes sense. But if something good comes up it's cheaper to get it from your free general tickets than burn 2 million per banner. This is a very easy game and you only need one strong carry to get you to devotion cap, and it's only 13 stars in dopamin for the EX ticket. That's my point. A new player isn't going to know what EXs are good or not. So they're liable to roll their free tickets and pick up things that they may not need and/or be able to use effectively. They're also liable to pick up lower tier weapons, not knowing that they're basically worthless and thus wasting more resources. Too often do I see new players saying "I have no gold, how will I afford the new banner?" or "I just picked up X, is it any good" and they have no resources and haven't touched the new banner. Yes, if a new player does their research and understands their income, they won't run into any problems and can do whatever they want. However, for the ones that aren't as savvy, it's best to just tell them not to go down the rabbit hple to begin with.

I started during the Yui banner and it was pretty easy to get her + her weapon from the banner. Saving gold where/when you can is the most important thing for you, as a new player. So long as you have 4m+2 EX tickets before the end of a banner, you will be able to get the character+weapon. If it's a character or weapon you already have, then you can skip and save. As long as you aren't skipping your gold dailies and you're progressing the story+adventure stages as far as possible, you should be good.

I stopped playing for a while. Game's just too boring. Sexy skins don't really draw you in after post-nut clarity hits. Also, the writing's horrid and way too generic.
I'll probably try the steam version when it comes out though.

The general team I see used the most is Yvonna+Fammene+Juha+Mahari, where Juha boosts Yvonna for damage or Fammene for a first turn Monsoon and then you have Mahari turn all the enemies back so you can spam backstabs with Yvonna, HG provides bonus AP for Yvonna with immortal command.

However this team doesn't work against the Winter Relics since the fuckers gain AP when you attack them, you are supposed to spam debuffs with Juha and Soo so Nari/Yui can kill them ASAP, I haven't managed to make it work though. What worked for me was Griselda (for heals and grouping them up)+Yvonna+Fammene and I managed to get it down to 3 rounds. I'm level 60 though.

I was almost able to 1R snow wankers today. If only Efreeti's AP regen wasnt nerfed, SAD!

No, but if turn order is an issue, you can get stigma with substats for increased starting AP and AP recovery and give them to the character(s) you want to go first. I wouldn't advise that though since there's much better substats you'll want. You can always just use the wait command and movement to drain some AP out of a character.

The B/A/S ranks tickets in the daily shop are heavily discounted and you get more than enough EX tickets from events/promos. SS tickets are a bit more rare, but you still get enough of those. He's generally best as a support. Duty of the God King is one of the best heals in the game and Immortal Command is the best single target AP buff in the game. Song of Demise is also really solid if you stick close to specific characters, but it's unwieldy. Make sure to also grab passives like Afterglow and Seed of Life to make every other ability heal as well.

How bad are the nerfs?

Started playing last week and got a couple of questions.
Can you craft higher upgrade materials from lower ones? The game is telling me to use gold background ones to level up my weapons but I still have plenty of the lower tier ones.
How many teams do you need for endgame stuff? Based on the hard part of the event I assume 3, but that energy cost to deploy certain characters I guess it's not so straightforward.
Worth to buy everything in the Daily Shop with the in game money? I've been buying the tickets and gift boxes, dunno if the other stuff is worth it.

You can't upcraft weapon xp items, but don't worry, you'll get more than you know what to do with im the lomg run. You don't really need more than one good team for a majority of content. You can get the 13 stars required for the EX ticket from dopamine with one good team doing three stages at 3/4* and filling out the rest with half built characters on the 1* difficulty. Buy the boxes with gifts and the A and S rank recruit tickets. B rank tickets are optional. Everything else in the daily shop is not worth it. Don't forget to claim the free 10k in the bottom tab of the shop.

It's two banners every two weeks (character and weapon) and off-weeks are reruns, sometimes with a third banner introducing a new EX for a non-EX character. As long as you do your dalies and weeklies you'll have enough gold to roll to pity on two banners. The occasional pre-pity EX and banner roll tickets should keep you in the green. Eventually your pokedex will be filled out to the point that you can skip reruns of characters you don't use. If you do your research you can choose to skip certain reruns altogether.

You can easily break the game with skills that have 0-round cooldowns due to all the AP recovery garbage.

An oversight that makes a character busted followed by a nerf can happen once, but if it happens twice in a row you either:
-Do it willingly to generate hype and encourage players to whale, meaning you are scamming them
-Do it unwillingly, meaning you don't care enough about your own game to properly test and balance new characters
And this is bad either way because after this backlash we might get very mediocre characters gameplay wise
