Endfield invented a character cloning process for the sole purpose of avoiding making descendants of characters from the original Arknights. The only thing I've seen good from NTE is the fact you can choose the bonus you get from dupes and change it around as well as the fact they gave it a lot of small stuff to do throughout the city. The issue with that is that the small stuff will get old fast and they don't really have much else going for them. In the current market you either have to go for something properly new and impress people with something more unique or you have to do everything everyone else does but better. NTE does neither of these things right now and from what I saw even some of the guys who reviewed it and wanted to shill it struggled to find good stuff to say about it at times.

A short review, just writing whatever comes to mind.
The art is solid, no worries there, you guys are awesome, no need to say more, the actual gameplay feels great. Basically, all the characters we've seen before can be played. I think Trara's feel is the best, her attack has a derivative move where she just keeps stabbing repeatedly, can directly pin two small bosses to the sky and they can't come down. Also, Luoqing's skill effects have a dragon flying up, super cool. Will add more thoughts later if anything comes to mind.

The time was short, my understanding is shallow, just a brief taste.

1. Starlink Cards are divided into five tiers: white, green, blue, purple, and gold. The capture interface shows probabilities. After catching one Qibo, nearby Qibos of the same type will immediately become hostile and start fighting. Starlink Cards can be obtained by "tilling the land," like mining or similar activities.
2. There's something called a "Silver Key" in the inventory, described as being used to open silver treasure chests. However, the silver treasure chest in the beginner village, opened after burning away fallen leaves, didn’t consume the key. Maybe it’s used for special puzzle-solving or it’s a bug?
3. The blonde girl, whose real name hasn’t been revealed, is called Lily. Based on her skill set, she’s a C-tier character. A perfect counterattack grants an additional multiplier.
4. Dodging and blocking each have their own energy bars; using them once consumes one use, but the cooldown is decent. Combat feels simple and satisfying, but due to time constraints, I only fought some rabbits before checking out other stuff (maybe the rabbits were just easy).

5. Qibo battles involve bringing 8 Qibo Cards. After landing, you can release them, and both sides’ Qibos will attack each other, similar to an auto-chess game. Once a Qibo is placed, it immediately uses its skill once. During selection, there’s a white frame showing the skill’s range. Players can choose from four skills before the battle starts. In the game, you can use commands and support actions (like an "all-out attack" or something, I didn’t look closely).
6. While exploring the open world, pressing Tab triggers a special vision mode that highlights nearby collectible resources and treasure chests with a transparent range view.
7. The demo’s progression interface only included upgrading skills and talents.
8. Collecting Qibo entries for each race in the compendium grants extra bonuses for that race’s Qibos. Individual Qibos also have their own missions, which can increase a level system similar to "awareness." Each level-up gives that Qibo a bonus.
9. While exploring the open world, characters don’t have a stamina bar for running. Didn’t have time to try mounts.

The only thing I care about promilia is variety. I'm done with gacha games where everything is literally 1-2 models or the same character in different colors.

The demo wasn’t long. First, you choose your protagonist, then check out the features. In the team setup, all the named characters can be used. Starlink Cards can be crafted in the inventory’s crafting section, and you can also make tools like axes to chop trees and such. The Qibo battles were quite fun but still need some polishing. At the end, there’s a dungeon where you face three waves of enemies—super satisfying mowing them down. The final boss, though, feels different. It involves parrying and dodging, with the boss’s moves having obvious tells, so it’s about reading and countering. Finished it just as my time was up.

Just finished playing at the event.The character combat and special effects were better than expected. There are a lot of Qibos, but I didn’t have time to look closely—pretty rich variety though. The biggest highlight is probably that I noticed it’s been changed to a 16+ rating. That’s about it for now, heading to the Blue Archive booth to check it out.
