7th anni was especially bad for this because damage cut and inflicted abilities are now so inflated they literally ran everything out of viability with only five or so exceptions, and those exceptions still need to be used with the new units to work.

Oh and this is easily the most boring meta to play yet because every team has multiple lives and infinite sustain, so you can bet a chunk of players who landed the ultras also left. Timer count meta sucks ass.

Why do people keep saying the leaks ruined part 1? What ruined part 1 was them hyping the anniversary up for a year and then debuting regular transforming units with barely altered models, barely altered LFs, no new mechanics, and a dry week for the 1st week.

There are three types of raids. the ones during the anni which give out 700 crystals in rewards and have an infinite pool of health. the special ones where hp is limited which give out 1k in rewards, and a new version they did only once earlier in the year where each raid gave 500 crystals but normal amounts of the rest of the rewards and three raids were released in as many weeks.
this raid's map layout seems to be like that third version, won't be surprising if we get another raid next week with another 500 crystals.

I wish these mexicans could afford a decent connection the way they can afford to get ultras to higher than 5 stars

I was looking at that new Zamasu/Goku Black thing for Hyper DBZ, and between that and Dokkan, I'm pissed. Why can't Legends ever do anything interesting with the LFs? Unless it's for Vegito or we're in a celebration (not this one though, this was the anniversary full of reused LFs), the Legendary Finishes is either a slightly more drawn out version of something we already have or it's the same thing but in a different angle. It sucks.

Legends is a PVP game. That's the only thing that matters, making sure the stats are phat. Anything else, such as the animations, model quality, the story, etc, is just extra. They have the means to make it the coolest Dragon Ball game ever, but what's the point in all that time, effort and money when all you have to do is make sure the next unit will be OP in PVP?

This same answer is also the reason why you will never get a consistent stream of what-if/game original content.

Kefla feels fun to use in any team except for universe reps. The tankiest unit in that team is ultra Hit but that's not supposed to be his role. Frost really should've been a defensive character, or do something more fun like release Magetta for the 1%.

It probably won't be but I'd like to see lf super saiyan vegeta even though we just got nameku. Criminal he hasn't been made into an lf when it's arguably his most iconic moment besides majin.

I sometimes wish I could skip the 60 on average awakenequip rolls it takes to get a gold or red slot 1 and take equips chill, alas it all adds up and the difference between a set of a rank equips vs z rank can be anywhere between 15-20% difference in battle which means tens of thousands of stats less.
I've swatted one too many players like flies with my kami rank equipped teams vs a rank equip teams on equal limit breaks to not at least z rank an equip if its worth having.

Is the Gogeta equipment a good sign of something Gogeta related coming soon?

It says so much about the meta that I can look at all of this and declare the unit dead on arrival.
A stat ball with zero utility, cover null that barely works, no combo potential because no card draw speed at all.

All this gogeta equip is for is to give fusion warriors a unit that can take a beating from ultra ss goku so the team isn't completely dead. the team however is absolutely still dead because vegito isn't good enough to carry an entire team and kefla is hiariously frail.

My advice to readers of the thread is to not bother wasting erasers and energy farming this equip unless you just really like gogeta and want this for pve purposes. this is nowhere near enough to make him pvp viable beyond eating hits from yellows.

The damage they've done with the namek ultras is insane. there is not a single old legends limited worth pulling now, not even at max stars.
Worse is there's also zero reason to pull for any premium unit going forward until the next meta reset or the namek duo rerun either because every ultra is designed to gravitate the entire game around them until they release a unit to specifically kill that ultra.
Which cannot happen for these two because they released two ultras who have perfect type synergy and coverage. Anything trying to kill the goku will get murdered by frieza and a blue third wheel and anything trying to kill the frieza will get hard-countered by the goku.

Kefla demonstrates how dead those two ultras have made the game. she's an obsolete release and every pvp match is just the two ultras with a third wheel and will remain like that until legends fest at the earliest, but because they retardedly released two ultras for the same team at the same time there's a very real possibility namek saga is going to be top tier until next anni.
This campaign is only going to exacerbate the problem by further buffing ultra frieza with premium units too, so the meta going forward will be ultra frieza ultra nameku and then whatever loe legends limited comes out next week, possibly also king cold depending on how good or mid he is. and that'll be the meta for the next nine to twelve months.

The biggest issue with PVP is the fact that someone can run multiple ultras and still use the rising rush

Been fun. Except not really. PvP is a fucking shit show and this new Freeza Death Beam to 0 HP meta finally broke me. No point in playing a game that just makes me angrier and angrier each day

It's shit. I honestly don't understand why I haven't uninstalled the game already. The only thing that appeals to me now are the models and animations because it does (or it used to) do things other Dragon ball games don't but nowadays either the animations or the models or both turn out to be recycled or underwhelming.

The new cooler for instance could have had a badass LF where he took the enemy into his core world, or broke out that giant cooler, I would have even taken an LF of those clones ganging up as uninspired as that'd be compared to the former two, but what did we get? They basically just merged the green card and the blue card of another Metal Cooler unit and called it a day.

The anniversary was especially egregious, which sucks because not only did they hype it up and made a whole ass ram update about it (I'm convinced it was for the ground battles and that's it), but above all else, the celebrations are usually when I can count on them to do right by the animations. Last year we got Gogeta's, in Legends Fest they gave Vegito a compeltely new LF, but this year we couldn't even get an original one. Plus they just dropped the story they were building up. No conclusion to what happened at all and no shallot upgrade even though the so-called "Super" Anniversary would have been the best time to do it.

Multi kind of shattered my dreams of them making a PVE-focused DB game that isn't turnbased like Dokkan, but as soon as we get that, (assuming it looks good) I'm dumping Legends.

Well that's what happens when the devs shit the bed by making pvp unbearable. what blows my mind though is that they decided to follow up the no life grind of the eight week anniversary campaign with a campaign that requires almost as much no lifing with a fraction more rewards than a normal campaign while shifting most of the rewards to the end of the no lifing part of the grind.

Like how retarded do you have to be to try to force your tired fanbase back to the slave wheel? this is the time you drop a campaign that gives out extra rewards for players if they basically keep up their dailies and keep checking in so they don't lose the habit, not trying to further exhaust them. I'm not even bothering going for any of the campaign rewards because they're that fucking horrid. 20 pvp wins and 50 kos, and that's AFTER you've played enough pvp to do a bunch of other tedious shit, all for an extra 300 crystals and measily 100 lf z power, are they actually retarded?
Thanks to the garbage infinite life meta getting a single kill in pvp is rarer than winning because most players will forfit within thirty counts if they match isn't competitive, and the kills themselves when you get them take minutes a piece.

I'm in full blitz my dailies and log out in five minutes mode and I have no intention of changing that until fest. game is somehow in an even worse state than after fest 2024 and the toxic garbage infinite combo majin vegeta meta.

I would summon for a new family kamehameha but I've been convinced that LFs are going to be fundamentally lacking for a while as they figure out their new design philosophy.

The devs fucked up big time with this. meanwhile the ginyu force are busy shredding and tanking everything.

I'm truly starting to wondering if both the metal cooler and zenkai cooler were made prior to the anni and the devs just didn't get off their lazy asses to update their abilities. 130% damage guard and 220 damage inflicted is daima era modifiers and we can see with the ginyu force's equip they're not actually afraid to give older units contemporary modifiers.

So people can run Frieza leader slot, this Goku and vegeta. And then whenever dende releases he can just heal them whenever. And if I just manage to hang around the battle long enough they can just rising rush to end the match. Bravo legends dev team.

I wish Ultra units had better blue and ultimate attacks. I know they can't upstage LFs, but they also don't have to be SP tier. It really takes the "Ultra" out of Ultra and it's jarring when you compare it to the (usually) top notch ink art and the intro.

If you lose to a 6 star itku, 5 star kaioku and feetku you should have your ultras taken away from you

It's not just the fact this is actually evil design, it's not just the fact they looked at the meta and released a unit specifically to ruin it even further.
It's the fact they actively sabotagued the releases that came out between the last two ultras and this one on top of all of the above. Neither LF cooler is even usable, much less strong. There's simply nothing in the meta outside this triple ultra team that's runnable, I have never in my entire time seen the game in this bad of a state and that's saying a lot because I was there during the holy trinity meta, the vegito blue metas, the zenkai lf gohan meta, and the gogeta4 meta.
This meta is hands down the worst of the lot, and the devs responded by intentionally making it worse.

Game's in a death spiral officially and I for one am out. I would say it's been fun but no, frankly it hasn't been fun for years. The game would get into mildly healthy states and then the devs would ruin it every single fucking time within two weeks.

Fuck ultras, worst shit in the game's history.

pvp has been nothing but frieza saga, kaioken on frieza saga or triple ultras. The triple ultra shit reminds me of last year when people were running Rathan, ug4 and umv together for peak cancer. I'm just gonna limit my pvp engagement to the bare minimum and hope old units I have get buffed so I can save myself the headache. Can't wait to farm zenni for the tag4s equip tomorrow.

Anyone else think the Daima models still look better than a lot of the other models revealed this year? I think they even beat Ultra Goku and Frieza.

The rewards will likely be shifted elsewhere, the devs have been consistent on giving out the same amount of summon currency monthly for years now.
It will likely be shifted to exchange shops however ripping away 2-3000 crystals a month from long term savers which is nasty, and it's blatantly obvious why now they've added pity to ultra banners. At present it'd take four months of dedicated saving to get a ultra on release, but if they remove the 3k crystals from savers that pushes it out another 3 months making it unrealistic for anybody besides whales to ever touch pity.

Which, of course, is almost certainly the entire point.

On the bright side I fucking despise top and if they removed crystals from it entirely I could simply ignore the mode forever and the game takes three minutes to rip through dailies, so silver lining I guess.

I see what legends is going for now. Their new design philosophy is to now make every zenkai worthless and only have units that aren't ultras follow the new designing of kits while also gutting the amount of free cc they give.
This way ultras can be even more busted than they were before and they get people to spend money to pull for the units with the worst rates in the game (don't worry you get a pity copy after spending 40k cc).

It's a stress test to see how much the remaining players will put up with. If they don't lose many players, it's a win, especially with the new supporters system which is already looking to be 100% P2W.

If they fail, it might just be a long countdown to EOS. I theorize they at least wanna make it to 10th anni before throwing in the towel for good.

They already showed us during anniversary with the 7k CC they don't give a single shit about if you've been a loyal player or not. It's just obnoxious to put in all this effort and do all these events and for what? 3k CC? ONE single rotation on a banner when the rates are so abysmal it usually takes like 10 rotations minimum? I literally cannot get any more CC right now except for what? Doing dailies and new events to get maybe around 2k CC this month?

I'm thinking of just making a new account, doing all the old events and Story mode to get a quick 20kCC and save that for Vegeta and Part 2 and stick with the account until Legends Fest to do it again.

I'm sorry I'm just venting. It's so fucking frustrating to play a game that actively does everything in its power to punish you for daring to not whale out on the Gacha system.

There is one point, Zenkais.

If you've zenkai'd already like most of the zenkaiable units, it's time consuming to zenkai them all over again.

Of course, it's not an absolute necessity, but part of the meta in the top ranks of PvP is zenkai buffs. It makes me wonder if the main purpose of supporters is to move away from that though.

So if I select Dende and let's say I need him to be level 30 minimum to be decent, once I pull him I need to pull him 29 more times in the summon banners, which wastes a fuck ton of CC, OR I go to the new CC shop and spend 500 CC for 5 dupes (and each dupe is only worth one level. 3000CC to get him to level 30, and If you want to max out a support, you're spending over 11K CC)

Imagine they started releasing units in dokkan with glaring issues with their kits, issues such as not having crit or having lower than normal damage reduction.

Now imagine they decided to take the support memory function and lock it behind 2% summons per five levels or 5 dragon stones for one level directly exchangable every seven hours. So getting them once gives your team 2.5% damage guard (worthless), but pulling them a hundred times (or buying them with 500 dragon stones slowly) gives your team the 25% damage reduction that had been removed from their kit making them able to be viable in red zones.

That's what they're doing here.

Btw it took me about 15k CC to get SSJ3 Goku (I'm a big GT fan so I saved it all up for him and Vegeta) and out of that my supporter levels are

Like the new Goku is amazing. His model is great, he's expressive, and his animations are immaculate - his chest literally gets bigger for a frame as he's turning great ape, (it should have been Part 2 Vegeta's LF.) I'm not a PVP'er, and if I wasn't saving for Legends Fest I'd put all the CC I had into getting him.

Meanwhile, Goku and Vegeta from part 1 of the so-called "Super Anniversary" only have slightly altered versions of their 2022 models with slightly altered LFs , you could argue that MUI Goku's blue card leading into the LF is decent but the actual LF is a direct downgrade from 2022 and the only striking difference between the two Vegeta's is that the new mouth gets a little bit bigger. It's an embarrassment.

And it makes me think Legends Fest is going to be a disaster quality wise.

As a universe reps main it really bothered me how low effort the part 1 lfs felt. Not only that but it bugs me that they only draw from the ToP saga for the tag these days. They could have done a lf blue kaioken Goku and lf whis outfit Vegeta since we don't have those two in lf form yet, while giving the old mui and evo a zenkai/unique equip.
The 1% sparkings were great though but Caulifla & Kale could've easily been a synchro into Kefla so that's a missed opportunity. As it stands now most of those units were power crept and we have no tank.

How it feels trying to use a single card when every character either halves your deck on entrance, makes you lose 60 ki or raises card cost sky high
