A few of is were talking about this on release. On top of the latest posts I think it's even worse. Some said it's fine at 1x speed, but the active is 1x speed and half the flying sequence is still incoherent. And it builds up an uppercut for so long, only to abruptly change into a dive, so it just makes the fly up seem sluggish. I wouldn't call the goku and vegeta impact frames fine because they're too fast to make out, so what's the point of drawing them? I maxed out his dodge, the crit I gave him is from a crit/AA chocie node. He doesn't need excessively crazy high AA because again he's going to be supering 3 times minimum every turn anyway. I'm fine with giving up 3 AA just to give him an extra crit proc in that odd turn where he doesn't have 7 hits yet and his passive crit proc fails.

It's calced like this:
50% chance (passive) -> if fail -> 50% chance to crit (HiPo) -> 75% final chance.


This is also the reason why "great chance to dodge" units don't magically become lore accurate UI goku if you give them 30 dodge. It doesnt stack.

And "short fight scenarios" is just a fight where you need him to crit and deal big damage on his second and third turns but can't use his active yet, so maybe i should've said medium length fight scenarios. I tested him against Gogeta's Special Battle supers and people are really sleeping on this guy.
Everything was against his first super in slot 2
turn 2 - below 50%, 2 stacks, double gogeta support: 440k
turn 1 - 4 stacks, 1 gogeta support: 390k
turn 3 - below 50%, 8 stacks and SS4 44%, double gogeta support: 11
turn 2 - 4 stacks 1 gogeta support: 1.1 million

I would argue he's as good as the SS4 SEZAs. It's very easy to control your HP if you know what you're doing and you're almost guaranteed 3 out of 5 supers with a proper build.
I tried more, but he dodged on the beefiest turns I got twice in the same fight with only 3 hipo levels and then I won. Also Gogeta had his supers in slot 1 before attacking and slot 2 with no attacks in slot 3 for some reason after apeku's transformation.

Based on the data table for character IDs, there's still some open IDs that haven't been used. The specific number of IDs would have to be one of the following:

-Another LR EZA (past V&T)
-3 Super EZAs
-A new LR and TUR

When they looked at the card awakenings table, they see a missing slot - which has typically indicated that the an upcoming character is less likely to be F2P - because F2P LRs usually only require one type of awakening medal.

None of this really confirms or denies anything specific and they can always add new stuff to the table as they want.. This also could totally be part of an upcoming celebration and not GDC, but I'd bet we're getting something for Part 3. Seems odd to blow the load on the "major" EZAs weeks before the listed end of the celebration. The elder kai banner and sales ending on the 8th is also suspect

I've made the complaint before, but originally he was the unit with big defense and between the EZA and SEZA they just gave Goku everything Vegeta had and more. I honestly think they're all really good.
I think Gogeta probably has the strictest timer, because he's going to be dependent on GT heroes allies to go with him. If the popular leaders kills can't make it work or the other GT Heroes units age out, he's limited. Long content or melee supers could also get him - but I do think he'll be quite good for a while.
Black and Zamasu are really solid - and not being dependent on dodge or anything makes them strong in various types of content. Even if they start to age, if they get a new slot 1, they'll be an awesome slot 2 or 3 unit.
Omega being mostly a support unit with a great domain that's not insanely restricted will make him a villain staple wherever you can run him. His major problem, alongside B+Z will probably extreme class not getting enough love.
Goku + Vegeta will probably enjoy the longest lifespan. They're on an insane amount of categories, have very high dodge for free, solid damage reduction, and can enable themselves to dodge on turn 4. Content would have to get insane for them to become truly unrunnable on the dozen+ teams that benefit from them

Kid Goku is good on turn 3 but that's halfway into the fight. He needs mid level content to shine.
As for dupes, it's not an absolute necessity but 1 with full add equips helps a lot to help him take advantage of his full passive before the intro ends.
