Yes. I have him at R3 and it's been well documented how absolutely buggy and broken he is. If anything warrants a lawsuit, this is it. Even the skill description in game doesn't line up with his live combat. Not to mention false advertisement, at his current state he can not clear the higher fluctuation orbits with 3 stars. I'm speaking a full on whale team, every single card at R3, 100crit rate, 300 critdmg, 210k+ HP and he dies in 2 hits or just doesn't do enough damage to 3 star, let alone 2 star stage 59.
Whats even more shameless is the fact that this fuckass company made his beach card a blue HP scaling one, his myth scales with HP, stage 59 requires 6 blues or so, this would be Xavier's third blue card which would give him a total of 15% DMG boost due do matching stellas.
So fucking blatantly obvious what those cunts are doing, I'm happy that no star main falls for this bs and just vowed to never spend money in this game ever again.
Meanwhile LSG at r3 and worse stats had no problem clearing stage 59 and 60 with 3stars.

They nerfed SHC boss stages significantly for Xavier's myth so we don't notice how fucking ass he is in reality, the current red chambers in SHC even give a very specific buff to his myth that is massive. But of course this is just to hide the fact that he is severely undertuned in every other stage.

I main both of them and this is by far the dumbest argument I've seen anyone use. First off, GoT is able to clear all 250 OO stages without problem. With OO stages being extended to 300 recently, GoT can clear those as well. Meaning, at the time of his release and then 1 year later this companion was still able to clear ALL of the combat content in the game without super busted stats. Yes GoT is weaker than Lumiere, yes he deserves LSG to be strong but that doesn't mean that KoD has to be bugged beyond repair to the point he can't clear CURRENT endgame content with a team that has hit the ceiling in terms of what you can invest into. Genuinely sit the fuck down and be humble instead of spewing dogshit. The 3.0 myths are logically supposed to be stronger than 2.0, KoD at R0 being stronger than Lumiere is a fucking given, as it will be the case for Zayne, Sylus and Caleb.

You are aware that when a skill description says "GATHERS ENEMIES UPON USING RESONANCE SKILL" it means exactly that? LSG and NV have the same descriptors for their resonance skill, yet one companion actually pulls in enemies and the other one doesn't.
They also have the same descriptor for stagger resistance. MC can't get interrupted during charge attack for LSG, exactly like the skill says. MC gets interrupted during active skill with NV though, which is even more devastating because the bulk of Xavier's damage comes from his support skill, whereas Rafayels does not have to rely on support skills during his divine mode.

Enemies have different weight classes depending on their size, AB's gathering works the exact same way as LSG with LSG having more AOE reach and AB being a cone, they pull in smaller mobs without issue, larger mobs weight more, so the pull isn't as big. Ok i finished all character routes (i finished them 3 days ago actually but then got ill) and to be honest i didn't find the writing that bad, however i do agree that the product is too mediocre for them to charge 15$.
Obscura suffers from the same problems as other itchio amare demos/jams, they need to advertise their product but since they have a certain limit they need to cramp together the plot into a very compact space which in turn makes it feel rushed, despite that i didn't find the pacing too atrocious but that's just my opinion.
As for the mc, they weren't as edgy as i imagined them in my head but it DID feel like the writers were trying too hard to write a "cool and witty" protagonist. Let's say you're fine being blatantly the secondary audience even after being even more blatantly disregarded in the mesa region. Let's look at them in the gameplay

So basically, chances are if you like a dude, he's going to be main DPS and demand you build an entire team around him. This has happened to me several times. You can't just put Childe and Xiao on the same team for example because they're both the type that want to sit around on the field for long periods of time.
And amongst the non-main DPS, they may not synergize with each other anyway. The pitiful healing category for example. Mika was built specifically to support one mediocre female unit and has niche use at best otherwise. Gorou is geo type, meaning he can basically ONLY be used on geo teams, since the type doesn't interact with any of the others. This leaves you with Baizhu, the absolute worst design disaster in the game and his personality is that he has a snake waifu, and Bennett, who no one ACTUALLY likes but is forced onto everyone's teams anyway because he's the best healer in the game.
Then there's the probably most important matter of how they don't even look good. Male or female, these designs are just shit. It's like they told the designers to make piles of visual vomit. There's no purpose to most of the clutter either, it's just there to fill space. No focal point, no flow, nothing.
Or moreso, the writing is not even good. It's actually gotten WORSE with time. I liked the overarching story involving your twin and Dainsleif and nothing else. I don't care about the characters because there's nothing to care about.
The gameplay is alright, but joseimuke or otherwise, no other angle is.

It's VERY tough to use an all male team in the game let alone in the endgame without having a male MC. An effective team structure in the game is going to be:
>1 to 2 DPS (with Single Target DPS not being any good for the most part)
>1 to 2 Supports (with Applies Buffs being preferred)
>1 Sustain (with Healers being preferred)
There's also a severe lack of element variety which limits how many different bosses can have their weaknesses exploited by an all male team. On the other hand, it's very easy to make a team that's full of just waifus for any situation.

It took about 3 or 4 years for them to put up one male cyro 5* (and I don't think they've done another since?) and electro 5* males were just are rare.(Complete coincidence that both were highly meta elements for a long, long time while being predominately waifu)

To be fair, for a good while aero and geo were largely male, but they have added a very large number of waifu to both elements lately...and it's probably just a coincidence that the newly added waifus are broken and beyond meta while the guys are...decidedly not (in some cases, hardly worth using, including arguably the archons for both elements)

I think its more because LaDs fandom functions largely on tribalism and outperforming other LIs with how hard fans try to one up one another with revenue. There is no sense of unity so if Infold deliberately fucks over one group, it doesn't affect another one because that's the nature of the game. You can just pick one LI and stick with it. Infold pretty much encourages that behavior and they got so big with LaDs that they don't need to kowtow anymore.
The only thing they did not factor is how much buying power the LI fandom has that they fucked over. I'm not sure if anons are aware but Infold bought hot topic trending hashtags on Weibo, prematurely celebrating the beach banner to reach #1 in ranking even though the beach banner flopped and actually never overtook HoK or TikTok, in reality they fell to #10 within a day kek. For IN, the fandom is pretty much united, if Infold fucks up an update it affects every single player. It's much easier to boycott and have your demands be heard and Infold is very aware, they are doing damage control to regain trust UNTIL they get such a stable core audience that will keep pumping money into it no matter what.
