Went in on Baldr, managed to get her up to +7 from 700 orbs. Not bad, should be able to finish her up on the rerun. Got 2 of everybody else, mostly by accident, on the way there.

Man the new update fixes basically everything wrong with HoF. Already have two perfect forma on day 1, helps that Floor 25 guarantees Repo Gait on infantry.

If only I could say the same about Binding Worlds, holy shit that mode is just flooded with retards putting up units that are either:

the difficult part is neither cavs nor fliers have a special that's dual phase DR, so at best you can run haze slice. because of which, a canto build is preferable with blue skies or brutal tempest
add in potent assault and you likely guarantee that you'll get to make use of the reduced damage counterattack
if you wanna go max DR fliers can use guard bearing 4, though it's fairly outdated and still very pierceable

We did just get Archrival providing unconditional 40% DR and all lance users can inherit it. High speed fliers can also use Celestial Form. And I guess Ice Wall exists as well.

I think Blue Skies is a must have for its flat DR and true damage + canto.
Fliers with an adequate statline can get a decent amount of flat DR from Pegasus/Wyvern Rift and run that with Archrival or Celestial Form. Cavs will have to stick with Momentum or Potent Assault + Archrival or Haze Slice since they have no good defensive B skills.

Hana? Potent 4's lack of true damage makes it slightly worse than Speedtaker imo.
But if you're looking for some actual good B skills for sword infantries, get the new one from Brave Byleth for a mixed phase build or Potent Finish for a PP focused build.

Yeah, Potent Assault should be good. Her visible speed and res at max investment are not too bad, so Pegasus Rift is an ok alternative if you want more flat DR instead of DR pierce + potent.

I think most people went with Femui because Femui was hyped to be the most OP unit, for some reason, so maybe they will give Gully something nice.

But it was a guarantee that she'd have a limited lifespan as the absence meant she wasn't futureproofed. Femui was a popular pick because she was EZ bake. "Deploy her and and let her tank" as opposed to trying to set up a team with to maximize Soren or Robin's skills. But I'm sure people were aware Femui wasn't going to last long as her build was the easiest to powercreep.

But people picked Gullveig anyways because they voted for her, and it turned out that she was the best of the bunch. She was nuking near-unkillable armors like WByleth and EIke as they released, and was already killing BCorrin back at CYL. Only Soren had an SD use, but nobody plays SD. You'd be surprised how many thought Corrin would age well, despite armors never aging well.

Blazing Wind BGullveig could charge herself on the first hit, nuke with the second and bring Ike down to 1 HP, and then get danced for the third to kill him. While also having killed two other units.
If you used units or seals to precharge her, she could do it in just two actions because of Gold Unwinding.
If you REALLY knew what you were doing, she'd do it all in a single hit where she has zero support, only an AoE inherited, and using her standard Blade Session seal on the hardest difficulty.

Just upgrade her Still Water 4 to Crystalline Waters and her Sabotage to Discord (both of which were on Rearmed Marianne and both were direct upgrades), and she was killing Mythic Nidhoggr on reveal.
She even has built-in Canto starting on turn 2, which is also when ELyn's ring first activates. So she can stall and isolate Nidhoggr, or stall and snipe anyone you want out of Nidhoggr's range. She even gets Brave hits on units she stalled, so it's no wonder she kills Nid since she's quad'ing her.

I think the problem I have with it is that +8 in every stat isn't really that much better. An effective +32 across all stats is way better than +18 on two stats but most units are so minmaxed that it doesn't really help. Yeah, it's thanks to Tempo echo AND Archrival's guard effect. Tempo on its own would only neutralize Diamant's breath effect. His special is precharged at 1 cooldown from turn 1, Setsuna needed both tempo and guard to neutralize it completely.

Lull effects are quite common and you often have to rely on allies to get the bonus stats from D Bonus Doubler, but then feud effects can screw you over. Meanwhile Bonus Amp ignores all of that and provides a similar stat boost + DC.

Finally got around to building her after she spooked me so many times last year.
Even though it is a cool effect, Her prf giving FU/brave attacks is actually a bit of a downside because she would work great with reopening otherwise, and i would have been able to just slap my spare brave alfonse onto her. It would have made her very tanky.
