what the hell is changing melodie's height or the brawl stars logo going to achieve? why rework masteries when megapig is practically shot dead in a gutter somewhere? what's the point of redrawing colt's and shelly's portraits? it feels like they give more attention to cosmetics and events/collabs than how unpolished their game is and it shows

the problem is the that they release game breaking abilities and let them remain unchanged for months until they nerf it a week before the event ends, if they did balance changes sooner I doubt the event would be as bad as it is

Most of the time this game is a game against your own teammates rather than against the opponents, it's less 'how do I defeat them' than 'how do I carry this match myself and stop my retarded teammates from instantly losing'

I never really got the hype behind Janet. After playing her and essentially nuking the enemy team to kingdom come while holding all of the gems, yeah I'm a "Janet Simp" too.

If i were to make my own brawl stars, what would be a good place to be different?

Just bring back brawl boxes but replace the brawlers you would get from them with credits instead and still have the credit system. Also, separate sources for cosmetics from progression. This way you can still open a brawl box and get more than 1 item (getting 1 item from anything will always feel underwhelming, I prefer the big batches from the boxes) and you won't get cucked over by a pin for a brawler you don't care about while still having the benefits of being guaranteed a brawler eventually by the credit system.

bring back mastery too, the only reason anyone is playing this game anymore is either ranked or ranked lol, I would just make masteries purely cosmetic and move their progression to other areas of the game so progression isn't hard locked to a brawler you don't play or for the newest brawler that you haven't obtained

it would be a nice party mode but probably not competitive, too chaotic and unpredictable, the beauty that lies in 3v3 is that it's large enough for their to be a variety of matchups but the matchups are largely consistent for the most part with partial outplay potential (think of draft rock-paper-scissors)

also, the more players that are in the game, the less important it becomes about the individual player and the more important it becomes about the team. You'd be making it harder to carry a team of bad players and easier to get carried as a bad player but you'd be making it more team-based. I wonder how hard it is for the average person to find 9 other friends to play with or they'll suffer with 9 randoms

The abilities are pretty tame, in the new gamemode I've found Gale to be extremely strong, he can basically permaslow enemy brawlers and his super can undo all of their progress too. The respawn bubbles duration should be reduced or outright removed. They last far too long and I find most of my deaths are due to dying against someone I can't even avoid since they spawned on my flag. Also, the speed boosts you get from getting kills are a little strong.
