This game is amazing, but the developers really need to create more commercials to showcase it. It's a refreshing gacha experience with a low budget, yet it's full of soul. I was getting tired of the typical gachaslop filled with bunny suits and swimsuits.

There are 2 ways you can approach this. Either get 1 copy of Celeste/Faros/Sanga if you intend to keep pulling blue so that you get extra sediments when you hit their enlightens, or pick someone from another realm you're currently not pulling that would fit in a team comp you have in mind. For example Nautila would pair very nicely with Caecus for a counter focused team. I'd personally go for 1 copy of the blue units for the extra sediment but feel free to do whichever you prefer.

Yeah, it's a good idea to level it up to at least 5 for your best damage dealer. And the main story chapters after chapter 9 are Astral Reign. Awakeners with low stats and no extra abilities don't like it as much, but 1 or 2 levels on your tanks for a bit of extra Con/Def could be worth it, too.

Next patch is a banner that every SSR pulled will be a limited, it's nice value for a newbie to fill out their roster bit because most of what you pull is likely new to you. Aside from that in November is the anni and anni characters are usually very strong so you probably want make sure to pull that.

Investment differences too. CN discussion is mainly from whales while EN discussion is usually from f2p players. Clem feels great when your entire team is overexalt with double SSR wheels. Pushes your damage into the millions.

I think clem does a lot outside her quasar strength stacking. She also a big skey generator and thats pretty crucial in the endgame. Her exalt is a damage multiplier which is really nice. Its like having a second source of vuln on a boss for one turn.

The game let you reroll a starting pull on the standard banner. Jenkins is pretty good there, the standard pool doesn't have a lot of other good dps options.

The game is pretty dupe heavy, but the shop lets you buy a free limited character dupe and a free limited wheel dupe (these are weapons) every month. These are called prototype horizon and timeloop. If you are free to play you will get more than enough currency to buy both of these each month.

Other than that, just have fun. Its gacha slay the spire.

IIRC they also are improving timeless call's pity this time too. Used to be the same pity of 90 that most banners have and I believe it's 60 now, so only 180 max to get both the wheel and character instead of 270 if you got really unlucky. Still not recommended if you don't want both the wheel and character or don't have enough resources but it's great for newbies looking to snag ghelot or tawil and their wheels.
