Yes until you hit Level 60 where any extra exp you get is turned into gold. Then character exp (the helmets) become the priority.

Gold can be a bottleneck, sort of, but it's more just that you want to always maintain a minimum amount for banners. NEVER spend gold on the standard banner or for redeeming characters from the gacha, only on rolls for timed banners. Each banner takes at most 2m gold to hit spark, so you want to maintain at least 4m plus two EX tickets so you can get every new girl+weapon. Gold is also used for leveling skills, stigma, and weapons. So you'll be kinda limited on actually building characters until you've collected everything and can skip banners of characters you have already, unless you want dupes for min-maxing your favorites/most used.

When I first started playing my team for a long time was Platina (got her EX early on), the welfare EX 0 Headless Knight and Nonoha. Ironically I had to give up on them not because of Platina, but HK with no dupes just stopped doing any damage around level 50 content.

NTA but I've heard that Osla is immortal when you build her properly since when you reach certain treshold she starts autohealing more than mobs deal damage. Her aggro and healing has no downtime too which is very impressive for a free unit. Her EX makes every counter (Olivia, basically) auto weakspot hit, which is ridiculously strong buff. So she is extremely good in late game both defensively and offensively.
And what Kilon does, exactly? Just taunts everybody and then dies under focus fire, I assume. You can't actually be called a tank if you have less survivability than Olivia, can you?

Olsa has zero built-in damage reduction, and eats shit from anything heavy hitting. She's actually weaker than Mahari against big enemies. She can tank weak enemies forever though, sure.

Kilon gets specops levels of phyical res, is immune to back attacks under counter stance, and can also out-sustain damage if you position her correctly. Crown Breaker something once in a while and she should rarely die. She sucks if she can't lifeleech though, and isn't autotard friendly.

Neither of them are stellar, which is why Mahari is rated the best tank on any tier list.

Here's the teams I used for dopamine this cycle. Korabi kinda sucks, but I think it's because her weapon's 100% chance of support attack may not be working. I even tried a team with her, Osla, Pantheri, and Araha and her thing refused to trigger. Otherwise she's a decent stat stick, I guess. Most 4 costs seem to kinda just be bad in general and it's disappointing.

52, that is the lvl you'll get when you clear all content, Olivia is enough to secure 3 stages 4 start by herself with some fodder, you don't even have to level it up. Then you get 2 stars on remaining 4 stages. That would give you 20 starts. There is nothing of value past 20 stars anyway.
It's just a matter of whether you have Olivia or not. If not than probably 14 or so stars should probably be your realistic goal. It is still enough to secure most of the loot and it is reachable in a span of 3 weeks too.
Devs should rerun Olivia as fast as possible, though. Noobs cannot function properly without her in this game.

I tried using the new girl with manticore and araha for dopamine but she is kind of awkward to use. if you put her close enough so she is in range for her support attacks the enemies will just kill her instead of attacking the manticore, and if you keep her far away so she doesn't get attacked she doesn't really do anything. also the best target for her buff is herself but she can't use it on herself.

a lot of characters in the game are kind of useless because the enemy will just kill them before they can do anything and tank characters have very limited ability to stop them. it seems like hitting as many targets as possible has higher priority than aggro for enemies. for example yui's guns have -1000 aggro and osla has +aggro when using her yell, but wizard enemies will throw their fireball at the guns every time.

I doubt Olivia needs her. First of all she is primary buffing crit damage that is useless. Secondly, giving monsters movement speed and potentially AP higher than 159 strips Olivia from ability to act. And it's not like she is immortal or that you'll have team left when you buff your enemies' mobility so much. Her AoE is also non-existent, so you can't even use her properly. I can't see a world where she gets used over Yvonna, Fammene, Vlissing or Griselda. Her sig is also way worse than Vlissing one.

Those stages where you have to used fixed vanguards would be more tolerable if they had some kinda rewind function. I don’t wanna go through 5 rounds of combat only to have to repeat myself because of rng or a slight misclick. It’s simply too tiresome and a waste of time.
