Yes it was definitely made to be porn first and foremost with little focus on gameplay, but once it blew up and they became perpetually #1 on Erolabs I think they realized they could strive for more. There's the 2nd anniversary till end of October atm, so I'd say it's worth to pull if there's any rare card that interests you. Better save for rare cards in general, like the angels are rare and some LIs get rare cards too. Most cards get added to the regular pull after 3 months of their release and you can get 5 different ways to get them. Solomon rings (SAVE THEM), red or regular keys or gems and pancakes. I found a couple of old designs that show the changes in art direction. Most of the changes seem to be done to make the different designs more consistent, with anachronistic clothes being replaced with modern clothes worn in a similar way.
For example, Sacador lost his human ears and bronze accessories were replaced with cloth. Also his shorts are looser (sad, but at least his tummy is more exposed now).
