But as time passed, I realize I missed quite a lot of good games. While I also caught on on a lot of retro, and I lost my "nostalgic goggles" for a lot of it, plus some of it I thought was overrated (see: JRPGs). I'm gonna be honest, today I'm having a harder and harder time finding something to play on consoles before 6th gen; or even if I "know" what to play, I can't force myself to play it (see: RE).
Then again, the list of games I'd check is pretty surface level, just acclaimed stuff of the last 20 years… TES, GTA, Dark Souls, maybe GoW and Fallout, just to know what the hell people play and see in these games. And I still have enough stuff to check from 6th gen.
