Nintendo has their own that they use for their official releases on Virtual Console etc, but a number of color palette profiles have been made for emulators that are based on the outputs of various TV sets.
Due to the differences in the color outputs of analogue TV sets at the time, developers would calibrate the colors of their games based on their own displays which might look fine on their end, but look wrong on the wider ranges available.
"The Immortal" is a famous example of this, which makes use of one of the prohibited black palettes 0E to add some shading depth to characters in combat encounters. On the majority of contemporary displays and modern emulators where 0E is solid black, the character shading blends into the solid black background. This is also true on the Nintendo Switch Online version of The Immortal.
